A really decent boiled then baked bagel. I think it?s the best NY style bagel in the central Florida area. Note: the bagels are... smaller than normal NY bagels, they slice your bagels but don?t put the cream cheese on it (they give you a separate containerwith cream cheese and you spread it yourself) and finally they don?t have a toaster so you can?t have the bagels toasted ifthat?s what you like. Quality... That's the word that better describes this shop. Not a huge menu with convoluted options, but a limited set of top... quality bagels. The place is super clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the most important part is... THE BAGELS!!!???????????? they are fresh, and delicious! Nothing else needs to be said! I have heard all of the great things about Jeff?s Bagel Run and decided to give it a try in my way to work this morning. The... storefront is nice, it?s clean, and inviting and the staff was very friendly and polite. While My bagels were very fresh andactually still warm, I wasn?t too impressed with them. The bagels were small and very round in shape, and the inside was verylight and airy. It actually looked, felt and tasted more like a Kaiser roll than a bagel. I don?t know if this is normal fortheir bagels, if a batch that had an incorrect balance of ingredients. Additionally, it was a little odd to me that spreadsaren?t applied by the staff but instead provided in small containers for you to apply yourself. This especially bothered me whenI realized the butter that I asked for was just a chunk of a stick of butter and not butter spread. So it was rather todifficult to apply to said bagel. I ordered bagels and a tray of lox with all the fixings as the centerpiece of a post wedding brunch for my daughter and... son-in-law. A good number of guests hailed from the North, including myself. Say what you will about Northerners, but we knowour bagels! Jeff's were delicious, very authentic New York. The lox was excellent and the presentation lovely. There was aslight mix up with the order that I discovered during the brunch set up. I called Jeff and they remedied it immediately bydelivering the missed item, without hesitation. This place has the reputation in the central FL area for having the best bagels. Can easily say that these bagels were as... advertised. We drove 35-40 minutes to Ocoee and went in for a bagel with cream cheese. I got the cacio e pepe bagel withcinnamon cream cheese and my fiancee got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. The dough itself is very good and you cantell how fresh everything tastes. I would've loved these bagels with egg/cheese/the works but understandably they stick to whatworks well for them. I come for the bagels and cream cheese but I go back for the employees. This is one of the friendliest places you can patronage... in Orlando. The cream cheese is so good - reminds me so much of growing up in NJ - but to get the correct quantity just buy thelarger tub and not the individual serving and lather it on. The bagels are just like up north but the one caveat is to go atopening; first thing in the morning they are the best. Read more
