Ordered take out meal for my son's birthday. He reported that the food was delicious. My son's friend told me that once he (the... friend) tasted the oxtail his legs were kicking uncontrollably ????????????. I was in the mood to try something new and found this little Jamaican place in the heart of Oceanside. Boneless Jerk Chicken was... tender and flavorful Vegan Ital was tasty too served with rice I really liked plantains. Steamed cabbage was sort of bland thoOther then that It was delicious . I had a great take out experience. The menu represents most things you?ll find common on trips to Jamaica. The service was... first rate, and the food was good. I got the jerk chicken, which was very good at least on comparison to visits toJamaica. The Pattie?s were good, but could do with a bit more meat in my opinion. All I can say is flavor blast! One of the best unique places in the area. Small shop offering take-out only. Took about 10... minutes for our order, about $14 for each plate after taxes. Found myself in Oceanside this past weekend trying to get away from SD proper and decided to stop here after trying their wings... and plantains a couple of months ago at a gathering. The catered wings were so perfectly seasoned and spicy. My partner and Ihave been talking about them ever since! This time around we ordered 3 plates of jerk chicken (spicy) and a spicy beef entree.This place was POPPIN when we pulled up so I expected a wait but still expected my order to be correct of course. When I go topick up the lady called out the order by asking if I got one order of beef and three chickens, so I knew we were going to besquared away! We get to our friends house to sit down and eat...and there were four chicken plates! :( I was so excited to trythe beef.... pretty bummed about the order being incorrect, but still plan to go back because the food and service is overallgood. The food was good! The one big complaint I have is that certain dishes are very spicy! I can handle medium amounts of spice and... it was too much for me. Make sure when ordering, you make sure you ask what is spicy so you don?t order something you can barelyeat. They have a large selection of drinks that you can try. The ones I tried were very good. Am giving this restaurant a 4 ???? they were not doing dinning in it was more like take out but the meal was good I enjoyed my... oxtail,curried goat and rice and peas my husband enjoyed his jerk chicken and rice and peas he wasn't pleased with his Jerkchicken patty he was expected a more flaky patty, he loves patty ???? but with all said and done i would recommend this placethe meals is delicious ????.
