I first noticed Dutch Bros driving up the 5 on our way to Disneyland and saw there was a long line in what appeared to be a... drive through. Unlike most people I hadn?t really heard of them so I decided to look them up. I am always looking for somethingnew and different to try and was excited to see they had a wide variety of coffees and teas. My daughter and I stopped on ourway back from Disneyland and hit up the drive through. Even at 9PM the line was fairly long (both people waiting at the windowand in the drive-thru) but the line moved fairly quickly. Everyone was really nice and took the time to ask how we were and ifwe had ever been before and asked what we like and offered suggestions based on that. Since we are kicking off the holidays wehad to try out some of the holiday drinks. I got the hot Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, it was really good. The chocolate was lightwith a touch of caramel and hazelnut. I also brought home the Candy Cane Cold Brew. It may be better if I drank it right away. Idid like the crushed candy cane atop the foam but as for the coffee itself, I would have liked a stronger taste of peppermint(that is just me though). My daughter got a tea with lemonade and she enjoyed it. The Oceanside location is great, right offthe freeway and is good when we are traveling to and from. I am hoping they expand further down the freeway and a little closerto home for us. It is a little bit of a drive for us to just go up for a coffee and would love closer so we can go more often.Dutch Bros has a great variety of drinks and I like that they have options outside your typical coffee shops. Man, just go here when you need a good pick me up coffee. Ordered the 911 and was not nodding off between my drive from SD to OC... and back. The staff was friendly and the coffee was tasty. Will definitely go through the drive thru the next time I pass by. Read more
Let me start by saying, Dutch bros is very nostalgic for me as I lived in Oregon and they?re an Oregon staple. While I?ve never... had a bad experience at any Dutch bros, my sole reason for 4 stars is simple the coffee. For me, they?re a bit on the sweeterside. I?m more drawn to a stronger coffee flavor and less sweet. With that said, Dutch bros has much to offer most people and Ido love their branding and overall way they operate. I?d never say don?t get it. What I will say is if you like sweeter drinksand a variety of other drinks then by all means go give them a try. I still go there but I need to find something that?s moretailored to my taste. I do love their muffin tops with my warm beverages. Go get yourself some coffee and experience foryourself. Read more
Came here on the way on a road trip since there are not any Dutch Bros in my area. This is my second time going to a Dutch Bros,... and they stay true to their reputation of extremely friendly staff. Customer Service: I get super nervous ordering drinks whereyou have to make specifications, but the employees make it very simple and make sure to guide you and make you feel ascomfortable as possible, so I was especially relieved coming here. They were super nice and made some fun small talk during thetransaction! Wait: The drink came out quickly (3-5min) despite their long drive-thru and walk-up window lines. Quality: I gotthe Dragon Egg Rebel Energy Drink. Turns out the owner at this location made the recipe for it! It was pretty good and did thejob for me. ?????????? Go check it out for yourself! Dutch Bros has something for everyone whether you like something sweet, lemonade, tea,... frost or straight black coffee. It?s impossible to really judge Dutch Bros based on one drink because the options are limitless. Read more
I?ve had this coffee out of state so I knew it would be good, this was the grand opening weekend so drive thru lines were... ridiculous long, I just walked up that line wasn?t too bad, i waited about 15 mins overall, despite the long lines the staff wasfriendly fast and efficient so much kudos to them. My review of DB in general since this location has not (yet) opened. I love theircoffee; their enthusiastic employees; and their vibe. I love that I?ll be able to use the app locally, and not just when Itravel to Arizona or Oregon. Don't bother with this place. Average quality coffee, poor organization, and staff have no idea what they are doing. They have... 2 lanes for cars. They take all orders out of order. I understand 1 or two cars cutting in line when it's busy but to allow atotal of 8 cars cut me and the two people in front of me all because the staff don't know what they are doing??? Not happy. Seethe photo? The black truck was right next to me when I got in line. What an absolute mess for what is supposed to be a "betterthan starbucks" experience. Read more
