Although the restaurant was nice and air conditioned ,the wait was not pleasing. I was seated in a corner booth that took... forever for the server to come to my table. By that time I decided to get my food to go.. I switched out bacon for avocado. I was not surprised I had to pay extra for the avocado. I got it home only to find that there were 3 slices of avocado! Is thatwhat I paid for? I was not pleased. Next time I will be looking for another place to cool down. BTW, I told myself once beforeI would never return to Chili's at Vista Way. My party of 4 was seated quickly on a Sunday evening. After a pretty long wait we finally received 3 of our 4 entrees with no... mention of the missing entree. After we brought it to the servers attention she said she would "check on it". Some time later wewere told the item was made wrong and being remade. About another 20 minutes later the item came out but was wrong and everyoneelse was pretty much done eating. Brought it to the attention of the manager who clearly didn't care and needs some training incustomer service. Maybe this is part of the reason why there was no wait here and 45 minutes at Texas Roadhouse. Next time we'llwait it out and probably have a more enjoyable experience. Read more
Chili's disappointed. Shady staff doesn't tell you they don't have a full menu until you are very invested and committed. They... don't have a full menu and the items my party was craving weren't available. Personally I ordered a. Owl of delicious chili. I used online ordering with curbside pickup. The curbside process worked fine. My opinion: The ribs were great, tender and... with great tasting bbq sauce. The steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly. The loaded mashed potatoes were a littledisappointing: the ?mashed? is more like a gooey potato pudding, and with an occasionally stringy texture. It comes with meltedcheese, green onions, and bacon bits - some of the bacon pieces seemed hard and inedible. A better idea would be just toprovide a baked potato with the toppings. Read more
