To describe this place with one word...flavor. Everything tasted amazing, got the combo #1? The 2 slider and fries combo, with a... side of loaded /angry? Mac and cheese and a strip, 2 drinks. The Chicken sandwich are amazing way better than the other ½ chicken sandwich sold in this town. The french fries are so crispy... and full of flavor unlike in-n-out french fries. And the level of the heat for each chicken flavor is amazing. I highlyrecommend this place Read more
This is the place Oceanside needed. Everything is amazing. Have your spice level ready when you order. Huge pieces of chicken.... The combination of the pickles, slaw bun and chicken are a match made in heaven. The fries are Crispy and tasty. Mac and cheeseis bomb as well. A SAUCE PUMP. This place was pretty good but not great. Not much selection but makes it easy to choose. A bit on the pricy side (over $15 for... a combo and a drink). The mild is still spicy so if you are like me, don't go beyond mild. If you are a spice fanatic, you cango high, but you will have to sign a waiver. They don't sell wings and don't sell tenders by themselves, everything comes withbread. Read more
First time here & wow the food is awesome! It has so much flavor and man oh man will definitely will be coming back. The chicken... on both dishes was a Medium spice and it was just right. Delicious local California chicken joint served in the Nashville hot style. I've had many hot chickens but this is definitely up... there for top 3. I'd actually reccomend going a heat level DOWN from what you're used to... The regular hot had me dying thefirst time I came. I'll be coming often as this is one of my new favorite spots in Oceanside. The employees were very friendlyand lively and were jamming some Funk when I was there. California, Nevada and Arizona, along the way we hit every dive bar, greasy spoon and habadashery; I enjoy sharing them withyou. Angry Chikz is located on Mission a few blocks up from the beach. You may have to drive around a bit as parking is scarce.The building ID neat and clean with an open air bar and outdoor seating. I ordered the two sliders with French fries. There arelevels of spicy ranging from mild to angry, to order the angry you have to sign a waver, I went with the angry. I love spicyfood and seldom do chicken wings live up to the dangerous sounding names like atomic or nitro. The Angry is hot beyond anyattempt to describe it. My ears were ringing, sweat poured off my brow, I lost vision in one eye and I vividly halucinated deadrelatives laughing at my anguish. The chicken brest was tender and juicy, it was topped with coleslaw and pickles. The Frenchfries were seasoned and crunchy. I really enjoyed my meal and wholeheartedly recommend it however I recommend avoiding the Angryunless you like ghost pepper level heat, it will likely be the hottest food you have ever had. Read more
