Unimpressed. I?ve given Mosaic three tries. The best word to describe this place is ?mediocre?. Mediocre service, mediocre,... over-priced food, and they don?t know how to make a good drink if their lives depended on it. Waiting 15 minutes for a server isridiculous. The positive: best patio seating in town, which is the why I rated Mosaic as high as 3 stars. (The owner?s responsesays enough. It?s unfortunate that this is one of the only negative experiences we?ve had since moving here. And to the owner:if you?d asked your servers, they?d let you know that our table was overlooked. I had the red sangria, lumpia and shrimp with grits. It was all very delicious! The sangria was a little sweet which was exactly... what I wanted. The lumpia was packed full and so good! The shrimp and grits were a little spicy and creamy! Read more

My visit here was wonderful, I believe it was a Friday evening/night. The ambience was totally unexpected, I felt like I was... nowhere in Mississippi. Jeff, I believe, was our waiter; he was information and took time answering our questions. Basically,he let us take sit back and relax. My order of chicken quesadilla was delicious. I can't remember the name of the beer Iordered but it was a "local" beer from Slidell, LA, I think. As we sat, the band performing that night set-up their gear. Eventually, they started performing; the lead singer had a good time interacting with the crowd. I walked away from here with mybelly full and even purchased a Crowler/Growler of the beer I imbibed on during dinner. Read more

My wife and I were perusing and enjoying Cruzin? the Coast when we came across Mosaic and decided to grab a bite. Needless to... say they were extremely busy but the handled the increased traffic with ease. We were seated and our order was taken in timelyfashion. Our food arrived within a reasonable time frame despite the frenzy and it was delicious. Looking forward to giving thema try when things aren?t so frenetic. Recommended. Read more

I unknowingly walked in right at closing time. We had been traveling all day, tired and hungry. Having worked in a restaurant... before I know last min walk ins are not always easy but we were welcomed and offered a menu. I ordered the pork belly tacos andI must say... excellent.
