Update 8-11-2022. Still very good and have eaten here 6 more times since this last review. I really like this place. I am... heading there now for an awesome Chef Salad, YUMMMM!!!! Third time eating there today. 2 times with doordash and 1 pick-up. Thetwo doordash orders were great but the special directions must not have made it through with the order. I ordered the burger andit was great but it was put on the bun and that should be avoided for delivery because the bun gets soggy. I ordered a SassyChef Salad today and went to pick it up. When I ordered, I asked for extra meats and bacon. When they brought me the ticket topay, it was 26.00 for the salad with extra meat. This was totally my fault for not asking how much extra it would be. So thesticker shock bummed me out but since I ordered it, I bought it. Just make sure if you ask for extra meat that you either lookat the menu or ask about the additional charges to avoid sticker shock. NOW, I have to say that the salad was freaking amazing,so if I had to pay this price, I will say that it was not skimpy at all and now the sticker shock is not so bad in my headbecause the quality was really good. One of my pet peeves with salads is if they are dripping wet and not dried but it appearsas if they dry/spin the lettuce after washing it because the dressing actually stuck to the salad and that is awesome. So I amhaving salad for lunch and dinner, but it is a good salad so that is not a problem. I understand that their costs have gonethrough the roof and having run a restaurant myself, during covid, I hate it for all restaurants because most are struggling tosurvive. So, overall, yes, I love this place. Support local business folks, I come from a place that has no mom and pops leftand all we are left with is big corporate restaurants and chains. Be appreciative of our locals. They work very hard for verylittle these days as inflation has killed most of everyone's profit. Thanks Lancaster's for having great pr Read more

We ordered a sassy salad, shrimp baskets, a burger and country fried steak meals. The fries were bland and soggy and the salad... definitely could have used more meat for the price. The food overall was decent and the service was very friendly. Read more

I have heard that the food was good. first time to eat here my wife asked what your known for, was told home cooking and there... seafood. Asked if the country fried steak was fresh made was told it?s frozen, ordered the so-called hand patty 12 oz hamburgersteak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. What I was served was a Premade patty 8 oz no seasoning on it when cooked, Instantmashed potatoes and packaged no flavor gravy. If you say you have home cooking then make it home cooking cook from scratch notout of the freezer and dry mixes. You may find out that you can cook fresh and not disappoint people. Read more

Their ?Sassy? omelette is everything! Stuffed with shrimp, crab meat, crawfish, tomatoes, & spinach! It?s good by itself, but I... always add sautéed onions & bell peppers! With grits & a biscuit & it?s more than enough. Also their Belgian waffles are sodense & delicious? perfectly cooked! We always order takeout & the it?s always hot & ready at the estimated time. Whether youare a local or just passing through & want a taste of the Gulf Coast, the ?Sassy? omelette is where it?s at! Read more

Had dinner yesterday and breakfast this morning. Dinner was great. Hamburger steak with onions, green beans with a hint of pork... flavor and other seasonings, fresh cut pineapplegrapes, and Cole slaw. Everything was delicious and tasted home cooked. It wasthe same with breakfast. I had the french toast and Western omelette. Don't judge me, both were incredible. The wait staff arejust like seeing old friends again. If you go, ask them about how they got started and the "Sassy Salad". Read more

Fabulous hometown eatery! I enjoyed my smoked turkey wrap with a side of potato Salad. My husband enjoyed his Country fried... steak with mashed potatoes, white gravy, fried okra and cornbread (on the lunch menu). The place wasn't crowded, the food wasvery fresh and flavorful and the dining area was clean and comfortable. The portion sizes are quite generous and the service isfantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant! Read more
