I lived in So. Fla for years and now live in Oklahoma. I?ve eaten lots of Jamaican food and I have to say, this is the best I... can ever remember! I had oxtails, rice and peas, and cabbage? omg it was melt in your mouth perfect. We also ordered Jerkchicken and curried chicken which was juicy, tender and flavorful. This is a must stop for me every visit I make to that area ?oh, and the owner/chef was the nicest friendliest person who smiled constantly? he loves his job! I?d give it a 10 star rating!! Read more
My friend and I came all the way from Hattiesburg to try this place we heard about on the radio so we headed down and we were... not disappointed. I had gotten the Curry Chicken with Brioche bread and baked beans while my friend had the Authentic JamaicanJerk Chicken (w/ a tangy bbq sauce) with the rice and peas and steamed cabbage. Both were absolutely amazing. The chicken wasvery tender and the flavors were on point. After that we decided to get their rum cake dessert and it was the best we had everhad. The cake was very moist and didn?t have a overpowering rum taste. It was perfect. The bathroom was very clean and well keptalong with the restaurant, and customer service was a 10/10. If you even wonder if you should visit? you should! I have always had a great experience with getting a meal here. GO EAT HERE!!! Do not hesitate!!! Best food I've eaten in a long long time!!! That sauce!!!...yum yum yum! The chicken was off... the bone.. smoked and tender. I am from bbq country and this sauce may be my all time favorite. Try for yourself...you will notbe disappointed. If you?re thinking about stopping by DO IT! I ordered the half rack of ribs and they were the best ribs I have ever had. The... meat fell right off the bone and the flavor was delicious.
