Bright Eyed serves the best coffee on the East Coast, an added plus is that the owners are the kindest people. I live in... As a coffee professional with over 20 years in the industry, one of the things I like for in any area is a decent locally owned... and operated coffee shop that roasts their own coffee. I usually fail in that regard in smaller cities / towns but damn did Istrike gold in the Biloxi area! Super tiny shop with bangin coffee and tasty waffles. As a Licensed Q Grader and Green CoffeeImporter, I can spot a good cup and Bright Eyed showed up. Even though the barista was slammed when I walked in, he made time tochat and to make sure I even got some waffle toppings in a to go cup. Driving to Florida from Houston, we stopped at the Inn behind Bright Eyed for a night. Being right there, it made morning... coffee a no brainer. Line was out the door at 9am on a Monday so we knew that was a good sign. We were right! Got a nitro withoat milk, an iced vanilla latte (both of which were insanely smooth yet still packed a punch) and a waffle with powdered sugarthat was the perfect amount of sweet for a morning bite. Speaking of pouring.... let me.just prepareyou for some of the best coffee you will ever experience. Upon your arrival, depending on the time, you might pull up to find aline out the door and down the sidewalk. The wait... it's always worth it. Upon entering you will always see Ryan and/orKatherine behind the counter. You'll quickly realize that they know every regular by name and treat them as family just as theywill you. They roast their own beans and every syrup is made in house by them. Their nitro cold brew will awaken your soul andtheir simple yet perfect waffles are perfect for dipping into one of the best lattes you'll ever have. It's a local gatheringspot and thosethat do gather there are always positive, friendly and laughing together. To say I'm thankful to have found such aplace would be an understatement. Hands down the best coffee on the coast. It's impossible to find something you won't like on their menu. (I reccomend the... Lavender Vanilla latte, undertow, or Banana Foster Nitro) The shop itself may only be 218sq ft but every inch of it feels likehome. Ryan and Katherine are such great people who pour love into their community and cups each and every day. Bright Eyed is anabsolute must go place if you're down here on the coast, you'll come for the coffee and stay for the people. Read more
