Cannot give enough kudos for this spot. It started with the warm biscuits and Blackburn syrup when seated. Ordered the 3-side... plate for an app. Probably the best fried pickles we've had, along with fried green tomatoes and okra. Then had the friedcatfish and shrimp. The fry on all items were great. The breading was perfect. All were crispy, nothing soggy. Will definitelymake the trip back from the FL Gulf Coast to visit again! Read more

Service and food was good. We didn't get the all-you-can-eat plate but chose the gunny senior plate with sweet potato. It was... plenty to eat with two large catfish fillets (cornbread coated and perfectly fried) and 8-10 fried butterflied shrimp. Alldelicious. Considering all the sides included on the plate we were stuffed. Too full to try the banana pudding. The view here isvery nice. Read more

I've visited this restaurant years ago before pandemic. Service is always good. I ordered catfish and fried chicken. The chicken... was served hot the catfish not so much. Could use a bit more flavor & seasoning on the meats. Biscuits was good. Read more

This place is famous for all you can eat seafood. The catfish and the shrimp are exceptional. The shrimp was even better than... the catfish although it was slightly more breaded. The side dishes were also very good, Particularly the biscuit and jam, although, the fries and coleslaw, were definitely a treat. Read more

Charming old-house style restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. The food was delicious. The seating area is in... front of large windows overlooking the bayou as well as the natural greenery outside. Boats were roaming around in the bayou andthe view of those old southern oak tree's, that have grown with outstretched branches, made for an attractive view whileenjoying the delicious meal. Read more
