This is a charming, local cafe that serves good quality food quickly. Everything we ordered was very good and the portion sizes... were perfect. We enjoyed a recent visit to Ocean Grove, and we went to a number of restaurants. We only went to one restaurant twice: Starving... Artist. Great food, and excellent staff. When I opted out of having potatoes, I was immediately offered greens or fruit asreplacement. The omelets were delicious (maybe too big!) Will go again when we return to OG. Read more

Quaint restaurant in quaint town. Went to spend Sunday morning walking boards. Started out hungry and just happened upon this... place. Sooo glad we decided to stop. Met by the most attentive server I have had in years. Loren, it was a complete pleasure. My husband had the starving artist special and I had the spinach and feta omlet. Can't say enough about the whole area of Belmar , Ocean Grove , Asbury Park and Neptune NJ. Truly a great location with so much... to do and see. This eatery was fantastic. About 2 weeks ago, my husband and I were looking for a breakfast spot, and we came across this quaint breakfast/ice cream... establishment. Our service was exceptional. Our server Shay was very attentive to our needs. Our meals were cooked to order, hotand appealing to the senses. My husband had the blueberry pancakes + bacon and I had an egg white omelet w/turkey sausage andveggies! OMG Delicious!! We both had omelets on our second visit and they didn't disappoint. We sat outside on both visits,which was very comfortable, beautiful garden atmosphere! So come hungry, we plan on returning. We found our new breakfastspot! Read more

Wonderful breakfast. Outdoor Terrace was Charming, had fans and shutters to block the Sun. Staff was friendly, warm smiles. The... breakfast was the best. I will recommend this place to anybody going to Ocean Grove in the morning. We secure the parking spotby 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning and set out to find a breakfast spot.
