The SeaGrass Restaurant in Ocean Grove, New Jersey is a nice place. I went there with a bunch of my cousins. We've been meeting... over Zoom during the pandemic. I know the pandemic isn't over. It may never be over, but we decided to get together inperson. The menu looked good, and my cousin who lives here for the summer has had good experiences here. The service wasfriendly, prompt and efficient. I ordered a French onion soup and a Prince Edward Island mussel appetizer. The soup wasexcellent. The PEI mussels tasted great, but they were the smallest PEI mussels I have ever had, and lots of the shells wereempty. If you eat at the SeaGrass, get something else. Skip the mussels. Read more

Our selections ran the gamut: soup, salad, a... variety of appetizers, and entrees ranging from burgers to seafood to prime rib. Everything was tastefully presented anddelectable. Nice cozy restaurant located in Ocean Grove my has it changed!!!? The Sunday prime rib dinner was fabulous !!!! The mashed... potatoes crisp fresh green beans were just perfect.. The ceasar salad and dressing was delicous. Our server was so pleasant andaccommodating. Lively shops were all around although sadly not all were open much to our disappointment. Ocean Grove is a drytown . So needless to say you need to call the restaurant to see if you change byob. It was a great experience and I woulddefinitely go back. I googled seafood restaurant and found this amazing restaurant in Ocean Grove!!! It was such a wonderful dining experience;... quiet setting, outstanding service, friendly staff and exceptional food! We ordered the steamers and were blown away by thetaste. Living at the Jersey Shore we have had steamers at many restaurants, but this was by far the very best EVER! They makethe steamers in an amazing broth!!! Seriously divine! I ordered the salmon and they served crispy on the top the beurre blancsauce was to die for!!! After dinner we spoke to the manager Rhonda to compliment her on the wondrous dinner we experienced.What a delightful encounter. She told us her sister is the owner and that their steamer recipe is from Boston which is wherethey are from and the plentiful portion of steamers was because they are Italian and generous with food. She told us they havebeen in Ocean Grove for 20 years, since we live nearby we were shocked we never knew about this great restaurant before. Theplace is romantic, quiet and just top rating. BYOB, Busy for midweek evening. We were a group of 5 for dinner. Ordered a variety of appetizers which were delicious;... especially the fried oysters and the escargots. I ordered the crab bisque which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal butthe only issue came in the risotto dish that was made with long grain rice ???? Good for Ocean Grove restaurant. Read more
