Every time I am in Ocean City, this is the place I would come. The food prices are decent in my opinion, because a chicken over... rice, etc., in my area (Baltimore) is already 12-15$. The price is same here and to open a restaurant in Ocean city isdefinitely a cost, so their prices are understandable. Chicken itself is soft and tender, sauce is good and I enjoy every but ofit. Would recommend everyone to try this place out. Parking is limited, but if you walk around the city you can definitely stopby. Read more
Ocean City doesn't have a ton of vegetarian and this was recommended to us. We came here for lunch and had a mixed feeling... about the food. Chicken kebab over rice was pretty good and I loved it. We also ordered lamb over rice and falafel over ricewhich was a little disappointing. Lamb was overcooked, making it hard to chew. Falafel was over-fried and it was alsoimpossible to cut using a plastic knife and fork. The salad, rice and garlic sauce does help improve the flavors but it would benice to have meat/ falafel not overcooked, also it would be great if food can be served in a regular plate instead of a plasticplate. Away on a girls weekend stopped here for some donuts. Came out with a dozen. Fresh and watched the whole process. Was amazed!... Delish and went back the following morning to bring home some for my kids. Staff was super friendly and welcoming! Definitelystop in for some fresh hot donuts! Read more
We went here one morning for donuts on vacation and the donuts were so good we went back for more to take home to the family.... And they are freshly made and you can get what you want on them. And the people here are very friendly!! I would definitely goback again! Read more
A good restaurent May be for others but for us nope. We Went there on Saturday night 10:15 pm . Like other reviewers mentioned I... did not notice the owner at the time. Staffs are attentive. Limited parking and totally understand. Approx seating chairs areabout 24 people. Restaurent is clean , well maintained, bottled soft drinks are available , ice-cream section seems good. Nowour food experience. Average price of meat over rice option js ~$15. I ordered for kebab over rice , chicken shawarma over rice(eventually both kebab and shawarma are same dish ????). They display it as separate item in menu,but they gave both items withsame chicken. They are making the chicken once you place the order and so expect waiting time based on crowd. Rice was not good, did not looks fresh(believe me I have very good experience on Mediterranean food). I felt a very bitter taste on some bitesand strongly suspect they did not clean well the grill before putting new batch of chicken on grill. Their spicy sauce is notauthentic and store bought sauce and I witnessed myself (a strong tanginess). Portion size ok for one person and not very goodfor the price and if you are hungry might not be enough for you. Meat seasoning tasted ok. Same feedback goes on shawarma on theroll or bread. Onion rings were ok again . Prices are definitely high for rice orders but I understand may be due to seasonaltown? . For two meat over rice , one falafel wrap and one onion ring cost us $58.50 . May be I will try next time at the daytimeand see if there is a change or else I won?t suggest you to expect a authentic taste. If you want try it yourself and not aworst shop though. Their prices for Uber eats menu is considerably more than their store menu. We ordered food through Uber totaling to $ 95. They... literally sprinkled few pieces of meat over their platters. The meat was tasteless and very dry. For a $ 18.99 platter, you arepaying for salad, rice and few pieces of dried out and tasteless meat. Read more
One of the few places by the Simple Life that was open Monday through Wednesday, wish I had known that earlier. I found it... Wednesday and decided to try their donuts for breakfast. I got the cinnamon sugar and sprinkles. I will say they were fresh. Imean he mixed and made them after I ordered. The donuts were really good. They were hot and fresh and delicious. Had I found outearlier they would have been my go to for breakfast that week. Read more
