The staff was absolutely amazing, Jess was our waitress and she was simply amazing! Very quick even with how busy the restaurant... was, yet still took times to talk to us and give her opinions on which food choices we should go with. She helped make theexperience what it was! We had a wonderful meal and the views, food, and service were great. It is pricey, but the location and ambience inside and out... is beautiful. We had crab Dip appetizer (order extra bread) which was my favorite. Seafood entrees were fresh and delicious wehad halibut and blackened salmon. The mashed potatoes and veggies were all very flavorful. Only thing not so good was my mangocrush I was disappointed in lack of mango flavor for the price I would not get it again. The food at Sunset Grill grill was well seasoned, tasty and the seafood was fresh. I ordered the Chesapeake Chicken with a baked... potato, seasonal greens, and peeled shrimp. My friend ordered the crab cakes with mashed potatoes and salad. Both meals weredelicious! The crab was very juicy, the chicken was tender and I loved the addition of the ham on top of the chicken. In termsof service our waiter Jared is a rockstar! He was kind, sweet and very helpful. The manager was amazing as well you can tellthey truly care about customer satisfaction which I appreciate. The restaurant closes a bit early but you can go to Teasers nextdoor for live music and cocktails! Teasers closes at 2 am. My only complaint is the way the staff delivers food orders. Thereis a standing table behind the bar that servers place food on before they transit the orders to patrons and it?s a very hightraffic area. Tons of people (customers and staff) walk by and lean over the food from multiple entry points which is not ideal.To know that food is waiting in a high traffic area with multiple people leaning over meals is unsettling. The view from the top porch was nice. We could hear the band clearly enough from that location and still have a normal... conversation. All our food came to is timely and was excellent! I had the crab n shrimp salad which was fresh and lots of lumpwhite crab meat. It was well worth the cost. This was our fourth time dining here and both the food and service have been veryconsistent. Wait staff was exceptional, which I haven't really expected anywhere since covid- but they were allamazing! Drinks were amazing too! Nice location on the water at the marina. There is outdoor seating in nice weather, but we went on a cooler, rainy evening and... sat on the glassed in porch. Plenty of exceptional seafood, but we heard the New York strip was one of the best in the area, andit did not disappoint. We received very good service that was attentive while still unobtrusive. Pricey, but you are paying forthe location as much as anything. Best to make a reservation. It was busy even though not yet high season. Read more
Wonderful experience! The the food was phenomenal, the service was great, the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. We sat in the... enclosed area by the pier and got to watch a beautiful sunset while enjoying delicious food. We chose sunset grille tocelebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and we do not regret it. During a weekend getaway with my husband, and an afternoon of sightseeing, we wanted dinner at a place with a view of the sunset... (the name was our first clue that we'd get that). We found a spot to sit and waited 20+ minutes before anyone acknowledged usafter I asked someone to please send a server to our spot. Once we had one, the service was good. The Mahi fingers we got asan appetizer were fantastic! My husband enjoyed the lamb lollies and the shrimp salad wrap I got was decent but I wouldn'torder again. Hubby got an old fashioned and I got the "best dirty martini" and it lived up to the name. I'd visit again buthope it doesn't take as long for a server. Read more
