My boyfriend and I came up for bike week, loved that they were open late. Pretty convenient, the only downfall was the guy... working the register went back to packaging food with no gloves nor washed his hands? Read more

Poor customer service. Family member has a food allergy and was told by an employee the ingredients are kept secret per the... owner. No corporate number provided to call to ask. Have to speak to a recording first and then a call center to place an order. Read more

I tried Pizza Tugo in OCMD for the first time today. I had seen their name quite a bit over the years. They were as fast as... the cartoon delivery people and extremely friendly and professional. I ordered a large cheese pizza and a Philly cheesesteakhoagie. They said my order would be delivered within an hour, but it was more like 15 minutes even though they were 17 streetsfrom my hotel. I have never had that fast of delivery ever and especially not at 5:00 at a resort! I feel bad for saying thisbecause everyone was so great, but the pizza was WAY too salty for me personally, maybe because of too much Parmesan cheese andhardly any sauce. However, if thats the way they make their pizza, that's their right! The crust was cracker thin and crispy, which I like, but also a little salty for my personal taste. I LOVE pizza and could have it for ever meal and am a retiredAccountant, so that was the first time in my entire life that I had one piece of pizza and discarded the rest. The Phillycheesesteak hoagie was PACKED with meat and only $7.99, but it also was a little salty for me and the flavors didn't reallymesh, possibly due to my selection of toppings. It was a little too salty for me and I ate half and discarded the other half. Philly cheesesteak is sliced beef, grilled onions and mushrooms "wit wiz". Disappointing, but maybe it was just my personalpreferences. Read more

On 2-11-2022 my husband & I were visiting Ocean City. We decided to order delivery. We ordered a meatball sub, Philly cheese... steak, garden salad. Delivery was ok. Driver masked, on time etc. That was the only good thing. The meatballs were mushy, strange taste. Cheese steak was soaked in grease. Salad had huge slabs of carrots & cucumbers but no plastic ware. The entiremeal was inedible. Multiple calls to restaurant only resulted in being put on eternal hold. This was the worse dining experienceI have ever had in all the years I have been coming Ocean City Read more

So it's your last night at the beach. Staying at the Holiday Inn. Already had plenty of seafood. Husband wants pizza. ... Delivered, because you've already walked six miles or so up and down the boardwalk for the day. Go online to look at optionsand there are a few nearby who deliver. But the more you read reviews the more confused you become and honestly a bit worried. Seems like all the places have some really negative reviews, but what was the deciding factor for us was the owner's responsesto those reviews here at Tugos. It was so clear to us that this is an owner who cares passionately about his business and isgiving it absolutely everything through some incredibly difficult times. As a customer, imho, you can't ask for more. Althoughhis sense of humor is an added bonus. (and no we don't know him, we literally were in Ocean City for the first time in ourlives for just three nights this September). So I called around 5:30 on this Sunday night. We saw that the pizzas come in onlytwo sizes, and having read how "small" they were, we opted for the larger of the two...the "extra large" pepperoni. (16 inches)Gal was friendly on the phone. Took a credit card, asked for our room number and told us it would be 30 to 45 minutes. Cool, take your time. Around 35 minutes later, there was a knock on our fourth floor room and a friendly appropriately-masked guydelivered our piping hot pizza. Crust is nice and thin and foldable, with lots of gooey stringy cheese, covered in pepperoni(we blotted some of the grease). Sauce ample and tasty. Nice pizza. Very rich! I could only do two pieces myself. We wouldhave been perfectly fine with the smaller one for the two of us. Note: we had read complaints about the prices. I have todisagree. Not sure where some folks get their pizzas from, but this was very reasonable, good quality and free delivery! (ofcourse we tipped) Read more
