We came to ocean city to ski and swim. Ocean pines had 5 pools. The days we were there 3 are closed and 2 were open. So we drive... 25 min to get to the pool and they close it to. All while there site says it's open. These ppl could care less about folkspaying good money to stay down here. They only care about there profit margins. Read more

The Ocean Pines Beach Club and swimming pool were great! However, the pool and locker rooms are supposed to close at 6 PM. Every... time my family and I go the older lady that watches to make sure everyone has their beach club passes to enter the bathrooms, showers and changing rooms, always closes and locks up at 5:45-5:50. She will tell you at 5:40 if you enter with your beach bagthat you are not allowed to bring your bag in for fear that you will change or take a shower and will not be out by 5:45, so shecan lock up early. If you arrive at 5:50 just to use the restroom, it is already locked. I would recommend that the associationeither hire someone who will stay to the end of their shift and close at the appropriate time or change the sign and poolannouncements to reflect the actual time that the restrooms, shower and changing area actually closes. If I could give this place negative stars I would! The folks that own this establishment speak so highly of there morals and... there commitment to bettering the community "they serve" But this summer all of that changed. You saw Ralph and his familiestrue colors, followed up with Ort Companies owner Matt Orts disheartening statement. The Knupp family lost there son Gavin atjust 14 years old at the hands of Ralphs step-son Tyler, in a hit-and-run. Police found that car at the home of Ralph DeAngelus. He continues to lay low and act as if nothing has happened, continuing on with life as normal. They erased footage from thesecurity cameras at the yacht club from the day of the accident shoeing Tyler drinking at the bar and proceeding to leavefollowed by his step father and mother. As a born and raised member of this community I am disgusted by their actions. I wouldhighly recommend not dining in this establishment or any other Ort Companies establishment. Not only do I feel unsafe knowingthat they would not stand up for me or my family if something happened to us that did not benefit there pockets, but why shouldwe give them our business when they cant stand up and do what is morally right even if it is emotionally hard.
