This place was recommended to us. Sooo glad we came here for dinner. The food is home cooked and fresh!! The glazed whisky... salmon was amazing! The mac and cheese was ? slap yo momma ? good. The shrimp salad sandwich was so good and the Shrimp werehuge! This place is clean and the service is wonderful. Inside seating and outside as well.. if I could give this place a 10 Iwould. No watered down drinks! The bar tender tonight was awesome! Drinks were so good. Green tea shots were had.. grab one ifyou go. Tonight the bartender and the waitress were tipped, and well deserved. My husband and I visited Duffy's last weekend. I left a very expensive pair of sunglasses on our table. We were there when... they opened the next morning and the bartender, Brian, from the night before, remembered us and the table we sat at. He told usthat he saw my glasses on the table, and that the manager or waitress took the glasses but he was not sure where they put them. He said he would call me. No call. We visited that evening to check with the manager and waitress. Immediately defensive,the manager proceeded to tell me that he never saw any glasses, that Brian should never have relayed that information, and thatis was MY FAULT for leaving the glasses. Well of course it was I tell him, and were it not for hearing that they were seen bystaff and management I would have written it off. We proceeded inside to ask the waitress, and were then verbally assaulted bythe indoor bartender and pretty much told to get out. I don't know what upsets me more - my negligence, the way that we weretreated, or the fact that after 25 years of often frequenting Duffys, we will never return. This is your typical dive bar - enjoyed by locals, down to earth, no frills. Come thirsty (not hungry) - if you're into cheap... drinks, this is the place for you! Can't really beat a $4.50 martini. Staff is friendly and pretty chill. There's a juke box,some games, and importantly, the bathrooms are clean. Read more

The food was mediocre ,small crab cakes, old tasting coleslaw, but otherwise fried food was ok. Service was non-existent. it... seems we were the only patrons i saw that (after i approached the bar to ask) were told to seat ourselves. Had to request menusfrom the bar. The restaurant (lol) was less than half full, not busy, still no service. someone approached us after 8 minutes orso, after having seated ourselves,to take drink orders, eventually returning to take meal orders. The server never once stoppedby to check on anything, including refills. i had to approach the bar or kitchen area twice to request drink refills to whichthe bar tender seemed to find it funny that there was a lack of service and hospitality in his barely populated restaurant(lol). However they seemed very hospitable to the local bar flys.( So $75 later)...if you're into wasting your hard earned moneyon mediocre food with extremely poor service this could be your new favorite spot. btw, 20 years ago under different ownershipit was a completely different and enjoyable experience, i don't want to take anything away from the people who ran it well.
