Extremely pleasant experience. The place is decorated like a modern steakhouse. It wasn't extremely busy when my family and I... arrived around 5:30 pm but more people were filling seats by the time we left. Staff were very friendly and professional. Theorder: Kids Flatbread pizza and waffle fries Kids chicken tenders and waffle fries Strip steak topped with bourbon caramelizedonions, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus 1/2 chicken with side of white heat sauce and house BBQ sauce, bourbonpecan sweet potato casserole and Ceasar salad The Flatbread pizza and chicken tenders were both fine, nothing to brag about butthey are Kids meals. The waffle fries were out of this world though, absolutely amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly, asrequested, medium rare. It was seasoned well and salted just right. The caramelized onions seemed slightly overwhelming at firstbut by the end they were devoured with every bite of the steak. The roasted asparagus were cooked perfectly, not too soft, nottoo hard and they were lightly salted. The garlic mashed potatoes were okay, slightly bland, very weak garlic flavor. The 1/2chicken was half perfect. The dark meat was on point and the exterior was blackened just right. Overall it was seasoned well.The breast meat was extremely dry though. The sweet potato casserole was unbelievable! It was just sweet enough as to not beoverwhelming and each bite had just the perfect amount if pecan in it! Very good place to have dinner at with family. The waffle fry nachos are delicious and probably the best nachos i?ve ever had.... The garlic herb mash potatoes are also very delicious and are made FOR the GARLIC LOVERS. I will say that the onion rings have alot more batter than onion itself, but nevertheless, they are still delicious. The steak I got was purely grilled steak, it waswonderful. Read more
Service was very good. Husband has a sirloin which was cooked to perfection. I had 1/2 rack of ribs. Meat was tender and falling... off the bone, just the rub was too overly spicy (cayenne) for my particular taste. But manager was kind enough to adjust thebill since I didn't eat any on them. What a cool place... Get away from the beach bars and check out Coastal Smokehouse. The food was really good and the drinks were... fantastic. We have eaten here a couple of times. My favorite is the charcuterie board! Lots of cheese & meats. I normally get the pick... three, which is perfect for me for lunch or dinner. My favorite drink is the Coastal Smash with Bourbon & cherries. My husbandgot the club sandwich with extra bacon. This was huge! He also really liked it & ate it all! The Bourbon cocktails are awesome,but... they are a bit pricey. With some of the most friendliness hostesses in WOC, this is truly a neighborhood bar! I highlyrecommend this place for a great cocktail & very good food! The bar seats also have backs & super comfy! The only reason theydid not receive 5 stars, is that I'm not a fan of the wine list. My family and I had dinner this evening. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed Coastal smokehouse! The atmosphere is upbeat and... friendly. Our server was very nice and attentive. The manager even came and greeted us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.The food was so delicious! I had wings and ribs and they were amazing. We are so happy to of found another great establishmentto dine at next time we are in the area. I can't wait to try out another entree! Read more
The 32 ounce steak is amazing, it is very juicy and well seasoning. The asparagus is delicious but the mashed potatoes- I don't... like it much. Highly recommending this dish. The sandwich is def big, it is filled with pork chop, pulled pork and Bacon. It istasty but I feel there are a lot of meat. Read more
