Wow. Delicious and inventive. We stopped in for Easter brunch and were so pleasantly surprised that we came back to try the... dinner menu. I loved the special Valentine's fixed price meal (4 courses for about $85 per person). The standouts for me were the croque... monsieur and chocolate soufflé. Great views of course. The food was really good too. The service was excellent and personable yet not overdone. Love the... romantic atmosphere. Was medium to slow for business on a Thursday night. Amazing dining experience. The view was beautiful, food was amazing and service was great. We had a table on the second floor... overlooking the water. Our party of four had two appetizers - beef wellington bites and lamb. The lamb was especially good. Fordinner we had the salt crusted sea bass, duck two ways, scallops, and filet. All were delicious! The entrees portions were agood size. We also had a few cocktails and wine, which were really good. There were wine bottles for as low as $32. Our serverwas very nice and helpful. The Mrs. and I wanted to check out a new restaurant with a beautiful sunset view, we are so lucky we found the look out... lounge! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful sunset view to the wonderful half open rooftop atmosphere. The music playedgently in the background creating a soft serenading effect mixing with the delicious smells coming from the brick oven. Theservers and staff all around were friendly, helpful and smiling. The food was absolutely astonishing. The duck confit pizza wassome of the best pizza we have ever enjoyed out! The in house cured charcuterie platter was savory, the lollipop lambs weredelicious, and the baked oysters were full of fantastic flavor. The alcoholic beverages were 10/10. The main course of squidand chicken were done to perfection, hats off to the chef and all the staff that put it together. Highly recommend the blueberrydessert with a royal port wine. If you are looking for a fancy, upscale, date night spot for you and your significant other,look no further because the look out lounge is what you have been looking for. 10/10 all around. highly recommend coming in fora sunset to enjoy such a unique culinary experience! The Lookout Lounge was a prompt decision as we had dinner early in the week at Taphouse. I hope more and more people discover... this gem! It?s a beautiful experience from the views, ambiance, food and drink. My husband and I dined alone and it couldn?thave been more perfect. The sun was setting on the bay, there was a nice breeze that didn?t blow you away because they have theseating area blocked from table height down with clear glass.
