The setting of the restaurant is nice and cozy. Waitress is very kind considering they close at 8pm and we walked in at 7pm. We... ate on a Thursday night, not a whole lot of people, but the food was fantastic. We had the spaghetti and meatballs as well asthe D'roccan steak and cheese. Both were very good and hot. They were both a bit spicy for our taste but the taste and qualitywas there. Perhaps next time we'll mind the spiciness in the food before we order. In any case, the food was great and theambience was as well. The weekends must be even better with the deck outside. Highly recommend, thank you for the food, we willbe back soon! Read more

Not wheelchair accessible. Told that because the building is historic, they can't do any modifications. Didn't apologize or... offer alternative options. Never had a chance to try the food. Birthday dinner cancelled. Read more

This was our first time at this restaurant since it changed names. We were pleasantly surprised. Granted we arrived at 7PM and... the restaurant was empty except for another party of 4. We were treated royally by our waitress, Sydney. We had the LobsterRavioli and Pasta with Clam sauce. Both entrées were delicious and the serving size was plentiful. Throughout the night welistened to a nice Playlist of Italian related songs and current relaxing songs. We ate inside but the deck seating offers abesutiful view of the Occoquan river landscape. We will be sure to visit again. Read more

This could be a really great place, but the service may be the worst in Occoquan. Our food wasn't bad, but our server would... disappear for long stretches and the hostess simply didn't care. We were thr only couple in the dining room at 7PM on a Fridaynight, and the outdoor deck had only a couple of people seated...should have told us something right there. We ended up payingexact cash so we could just get up and leave ASAP Read more

Saying the experience was underwhelming is a generous statement. Door was locked when we arrived. Someone else called the... restaurant and the hostess/server unlocked the door. It was obvious the server didn?t want to be there by her indifference. Ididn?t realize it but she actually locked the door again as other customers called to ask if they were open. She acted surprisedwhen customers came through the back and told her the door was locked. SMH. We watched her turn away other groups, even 45 minbefore scheduled closing. The quality of the meal wasn?t worth the inflated prices. My shrimp scampi tasted like clam sauce. Thespaghetti and meatballs were ok. Chicken parm was average and not worth the price. There are better restaurant choices ifdining in Occoquan. I won?t be going be going back to D?Roccos Read more

I have eaten here about three times and we also enjoy ourselves. Great service and good food. If you have a special occasion the... dining area is really nice. Or if you like music with a view the deck is a lot of fun. I will keep coming back! Read more

I can?t speak for some of the reviews below but I had a great time here tonight. I had the chicken parm and the tiramisu with... ice cream and both were really good. They also had a guy named Louie playing music which was a great experience. I?m not surehow he memorizes all the songs.Shout out to Louie! The only thing that was annoying were the mesquites, but since the patio isfeet from the water it?s kind of hard problem to avoid. Overall a great place and I?ll definitely return soon.???????? Talk about a disappointment!! This food was disgusting. We ordered 5 different items and 4/5 were disgusting, the chicken... tenders were ok but not much was expected of chicken tenders at an ?Italian? restaurant. We ordered shrimp scampi, swordfish, chicken parm, toasted ravioli, and chicken tenders. My family threw out their plates before I could take pictures but below is apicture of my chicken parm, burnt with dry noodles. The toasted ravioli was also dry. Honestly, the garlic bread was the bestthing but it only came with two slim triangles. What a joke. Everything except the chicken tenders were cold. I had to come homeand reheat my food. We wanted Italian all day and decided to give this place a chance. Big mistake, never returning. Save yourmoney. Read more
