I?ve been wanting to try this place on our trips to South FL, so I faked a potty break to get my hubby to stop. And then I was... ?hungry? ???? We all ordered Cubans and they were delicious! Also got a couple of pastries and some mango juice, also alldelicious. Everyone there was so friendly even when I kept coming back and adding to my order!!! Stopped here twice so far for a quick breakfast and coffee and I absolutely loved it. One of the best cafe con leche (and... consistent taste between my 2 visits) I have tasted. My sausage and egg sandwich was delicious. If I am passing by again I knowwhere to stop! Only dray back is this place is busy (and for good reason) so it's a little slow but totally worth the wait. We must have hit them on an off day. The other reviews and pictures hold this place in higher regards than I do. To me this is a... below average cuban sandwich experience for $8. The pork was tasty which was the best part. The mustard should be more than astandard yellow. Some of the best I've had use stone ground or deli style mustard. Could make it an option since it might be ataste thing. The Swiss cheese was good. The ham was ok. The bread was decent. Pickles...need more! I swear there was only oneor two in the whole thing. All in all it wasn't a bad first time. Hoping it will get better since we are moving to the area.I'd like to make friends with the owners. Definitely worth a try and pretty good for a to go place! Was looking for some quick food and instead of the usual drive through stops, we saw a billboard and decided on Tom?s. I got the... Cuban and my husband got a pastrami sandwich. The bread is so tasty. It can make or break a sandwich and this definitely madeit. Husband was able to order, go next door to the convenience store, and return and it was ready. I didn?t go inside but itlooked small and efficient. Husband just said he could go for another half haha - a great find! Read more
