I was charmed by the atmosphere and the service minded staff immediately. The appetizers - in our case, the onions and the corn... nuggets - were delicious. Our table never felt rushed. The brisket, however, was overly salted and sliced way too thin for mytaste. I understood the pulled pork was amazing. The macaroni and cheese was sub par. The baked beans were probably the bestI've had in years. The garlic bread was addictive enough that I overate. I wish I could have tried the cole slaw, because itreceived high praise from everyone who tried it. I didn't have room for the ice cream, which everyone loved. Overall, a verygood lunch experience. Was it a good value? Definitely. Would I come back? Definitely. My recommendation is to taste test thebarbecue sauces and not order the brisket. Read more

I was on the road heading back home and had a taste for some barbeque. I saw this place and decided to stop. I ordered the burnt... ends which came with bread and a side. First time getting food at Southern Pig & Cattle. We did online order and pickup. Their website is easy to use. The food was... delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and generous. Hubby had the chicken. He said it was seasoned just right and supertender. The sides were good and enough to share between the 2 of us as you can see on my plate! Can't wait to go back for more.
