We went for the advertised $0.99 sundaes. While the ad did indicate it was for the app, it also indicated that if mentioned in... the drive-thru the price would be honored. The cashier quoted a total for 4 sundaes and a 1.99 as $10.58. When we questionedit she said they go by the computer. Eventually she made some adjustments and the new cost was $8.40. Taxes in this county are7%. The total s/b $6.37. It took so long for the cashier to arrive at the $8.40 that we paid it cause we didn't want to keepholding up the drive-thru or waiting for our or are now melting ice cream. Our friends were in the vehicle behind us and Thestore refused to honor the advertised price completely. They'd left without getting any sundaes. This Sonic is Lazy. Not once, NOT TWICE, not even 3. Every time I come here. And I?m told there is nothing they can do.
We stopped to grab some food, and was pleasantly surprised to see them on skates. However that was the only good thing. I... ordered a #2 my meat on my burger was burnt so bad I couldn't chew it, my fries in my chili cheese fries burnt. My wife orderedthe chicken strip dinner with tater tots and onion rings, and her strips were burn, tots burnt, and 1 onion ring, surprisinglyit wasn't burnt. How do you burn an entire order? Worst place ever. I wanted chicken tenders at first, they didn't have them so I decided on popcorn chicken. When I got it, not... only were the fries stale and about 5 days old, there was NO chicken. Tots and onion rings were cooked well, on the verge of hot/warm, not too oily, and just crunchy enough to let me know they were... removed from the fryer at the right moment. The only reason I give a less than perfect ????rating is the containers were not asfilled to the brim as we're used to with other Sonic locations so our orders did not have as many tots nor onion rings. Order arrived very fast and food was packaged neatly. Everything we ordered except the burgers was excellent (medium chocolate... milkshake, 2 large tots, 1 large onion rings, 1 large popper, and 2 double cheeseburgers without cheese). This is the first timewe've ordered Sonic burgers, and unfortunately, it will be the last time our tongues taste this. The burger meat had a strangeodor plus tough fatty chunks / deposits dispersed in it that made it unpleasant to eat and got stuck in our teeth. The rest ofthe sides tasted pretty good, were crunchy, and were not oily at all. Would come back again, but not for the burgers. Milkshakewas perfect. Read more
I go there several times a week for their Classic Milkshakes, and sometimes for their food, but the last few times I order a... Classic Milkshake, it shows on the screen what I ordered, and the price, seconds later it changes to the Master craft Milkshakeand the price goes up. Something is going on, because it's happened the past 3 times for me, and twice for my son. But when Iconfront the staff, they tell me to wait, and wait, and wait some more. If it's all about the extre dollar, just increase theprice instead of playing these games. Read more
