There are so many things about this little family-owned restaurant that I love. Let me start with the coffee. Absolute... perfection! Even if I don't stop there for anything else, their coffee gets my day started off on the right foot. Delicious! The Cuban sandwich is a close second for a favorite in my book. Great food, nice enough people and atmosphere, however the latter quickly deteriorates with the long wait times. Someone else... at my time of service was complaining his food was taking too long and I'd have to agree attentiveness is a problem here. Somuch so I don't care how good the food was. Read more

I've lived in the area for nearly 2 years but I have been missing out on this gem. It's worth taking some side streets or... different routes around town and finding this gem in a mostly empty strip mall. I donate plasma two spaces down twice a week andthis is my little reward after. All of the sandwiches are amazing and crispy with their press getting a lot of work all day. Ialso feel they have the best empanadas in a wide area. The dough is crisp and crumbly without being dry. I implore anyone thatreads this to stop in any day of the week and try a machito sandwich or. Update: The online ordering has been disabled and I called twice to place an order for pickup. No one answered and the mailbox... is full. Disappointed. Delicious! I can see and taste the changes in the food. It now tastes like authentic cuban food. The newmenu looks much better. I?m happy to have a delicious Cuban restaurant near me! Read more
My first thought was the waitress was not super friendly...but it turned out to be a misunderstanding as she was slammed and... they had a tonnn of to go orders!!! I quickly realized why. The empanadas were delightful...the cheese one were unlike any I'vehad before...then we ordered the steak (Pallomina??palloma??) And breaded chicken breast with sides of white rice, red beans,fried yucca, and tostones...AMAZING. lastly I recommend the papaya shake...literally heaven in your mouth!!!!
