Delicious authentic NY pizza, finally!! My husband ordered slices to go and they were very good, definitely reminded me of pizza... up north. He also mentioned that the owner is super cool and somewhat new to the area. I'm glad we can support a local businesslike this, will be back for sure. Read more
I really wanted to like this place. I love pizza, especially from hole-in-the-wall places like this. I ordered an extra-large... pepperoni, an extra-large cheese and 12 garlic knots. I ordered by phone and was told 30-35 minutes. I arrived a little bitearly - about 25 minutes later and was told it was almost ready and would just be 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I was told 6 moreminutes. I was concerned because there weren?t any pizzas in the oven and the cook was making an extra-large pepperoni and anextra-large cheese at that time. All told, the 30-35 minutes was an hour. The order was placed at 5:20 and we were pulling outof the parking lot at 6:20. I understand that things happen so I would have been more forgiving if the food was good, howeverthe pizza was floppy and bland. The dough was the high point - it has flavor and a slight sweetness to it, but the sauce,cheese, and pepperoni had very little flavor. Finally, we only received 6 of our 12 garlic rolls, which were completelyirregularly sized and shaped. Overall, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was underwhelmed. Read more
Not sure what pizza these reviewers have eaten in the past but this place have very bland pizza. I really wanted this place to... be good because I'm tired of the normal chain pizza places. First off, the time you have to wait is crazy. 50 min for 2 pizzas.But of course when I got there in 40 minutes the pizza was done and cold. The lady at the counter was very nice. But other thanthat there are way better pizza places to get take out and not have to wait near as long. Read more
Stopped by here to get lunch. There was some cheese pizza ready to buy slices and one stromboli, so we got that for the kids... while we waited. Ordered an extra large meat lovers to go. I was pleased with the flavor of everything, the pizza was thin butnot dry, and good amount of toppings. Small area inside with maybe 10 chairs total, it's more of a takeout place. Very friendlyowner. There was also advertising for Jamaican patties, however owner said they are shipped from New York and they ran out. Read more
This would be the best pizza shop in town. When they remember to put your order in. 4 times over the past year of ordering... from here have I shown up (after a 45 minute wait) to have the manager tell me they forgot to put the order in. Today was thelast straw. Now I have to order subpar 5 star pizza because 4 chances are enough for me. Wow! Delicious, high quality ingredients and people who care make all the difference here. My daughter goes to school close by... and this place supplied their teachers with pizza one day, so I decided to try them out as a thank you for supporting the school- I'm glad I did! I picked up a meat lover's pizza and a barbecue chicken pizza to share with friends one night and everyonewas pleasantly surprised by just how good it was. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I know I will definitely be goingback. Two large pizzas set us back right around $38. So no, it is not cheap but the quality is apparent and it is definitelyworth the price! Read more
You guys are literally the BEST ???? I'm a Florida girl, and I have ALWAYS heard about how pizza is better up north, and boy am... I sooooo glad you guys brought this amazing pizza stop down to Florida for this girl to get a TASTE!!! The owner is a WONDERFULman, he is sooooo super nice, and he puts so much pride and joy into his business, and the ladies that work there are also sosweet! I started on this pizza place and I literally can not go anywhere else now! Thank you guys at Florida Pizza Stop forgiving this community here a great place to get pizza...............I am hooked!!!!
