It?s so sad to see what has happened to such a great burger institution. I lived in Northern Virginia and I have eaten in the... original 5 guys restaurant. My most recent visit: 1 cheeseburger, fries and drink - $22. The burger was ?fine?, the fries?soggy?, BOTH drink machines blinking out if ?everything??how are you out of coke? But $22 for one burger, fry and drink? Just down the road is Mission BBQ. 14 hour smoked brisket sandwich, fries and a drink $18! The server was absolutely a wonderful woman. Friendly and cheerful. The food was mediocre, and the price was exorbitant. 29 for... a small burger, hotdog and two small drinks... went to Graffiti's Seafood right around the corner the night before and had twovery nice filling meals with drinks and sides for $3 more. In order to review had to give them a star. Well started out ordering on the app for pickup. Once I got there still waited 15... mins more before order was available. No one acknowledged until counter was cleared of people. When I get my order the milkshakewas so thin when tasted it wasn't correct. The machine had to be filled to remake and I didn't have time for that. Well themanager said there was nothing she could do bc ordered from five guys app. I told her that doesn't sound correct it's a to goorder why not? The young lady poured just enough mix for shake. The shake still wasn't quite right as it should've been. Uponwalking out a customer had a dog walking on table in restaurant! They isn't very sanitary in a restaurant especially on thetable. Folks working here are nice enough no issues there I really like the new manager hes old school so customer service is what it... should be. My problem is the quality of food, allergy Bowles are place with regular food burgers are sometimes burnt and thefries are significantly smaller then they used to be a large fry is now what a small fry used to be and the fry are eitheroverly salted or undercooked sometimes both. Ordered today and Grubhub delivered. Burgers were excellent as usual. Fries were warm but not very warm. When I dumped out... remainder of fries was disgusted to find 3 hairs though! We?re both gray haired so I know it wasn?t our hair. Read more
Five Guys is the only place that I can get a good burger from. Their fries are cut fresh every day in the store. You can add... anything to your burger at no additional charge except bacon or cheese. You can also get grilled onions on your burger orhotdogs. They also sell milkshakes any flavor that you want. I've gotten chocolate and banana mixed and it was fantastic. Iwould highly recommend this place to everyone. Read more
