My boyfriend and I always enjoy coming here :) Tonight we had our favorite appetizer...the calamari but it was over cooked so a... little bummed and we did try the garlic bread knots for the first time and they were delicious. I recently visited The Firehall for dinner. It was decent experience with good customer service, decent food as well as decent... meal options. I found that the bronte burger had a decent in house mayo with a personal touch. I finally found that the desertoptions could be better prepared to be fresh and not premade. Read more
I'm giving it a 4.4 as a bar/grill. Better than you would expect. Bronte is a beautiful summer destination but is filled year... round. The restaurant is a casual restaurant for families, singles, friends and work parties. It has a sports theme if you like,meaning they play a lot of sports games on TV. I got the stew. Trent from the Kitchen recommended it (I saw him walking andalways like Kitchen suggestions). I was hungry but skipped apps. They did look great though (turkey sliders, greek salad, I wastempted). My server Andrea was excellent. Professional, polite and super efficient. That was the best quality. So attentive toeveryone I noticed. Hard to replace someone who pays attention. Food was hot, well balanced and flavorful. I don't know if Iwould get it again. Its a mood thing. Great proportion of meat to veggies to mash. Not a lot of sauce. Garlic bread was nicetouch I would not have guessed. I would recommend and return. Personality, unique style, great service, and great food.Apparently they did a new menu roll out if you visited previously. Added some great new items. Turkey sliders, gobblers,burritos. The Garden Burger was smaller than expected, but the fries are more delicious than expected. The Australian server was super... friendly. The Coors Light was flat. It is a family restaurant. They have a kids menu with activities. It was great for my fouryear old nephew. Overall, I highly recommend! If my brother still lives in Oakville, we'll come back next year! Read more
