I was craving a proper Canadian style breakfast so headed to my local Sunset Grill in Oakville. I was starving so ordered their... Sunset Super which is three eggs, two pancakes, home fries and then your choice of sides. I went with bacon and sausages. I didNOT expect the pancakes to be the size and thickness of frisbees! They would have been filling on their own let alone alongsidethe rest of the food. They literally bring it out on two separate huge plates ???? Eggs were good, bacon nice and crispy butthe home fries were only just done and I prefer mine a little more cooked and crispy. Also, pancakes and waffles need maplesyrup. Not 'pancake syrup' whatever that is. If the home fries had been better and they'd served the pancakes with maple syrupit would have been a solid 5 stars. Overall though a very solid breakfast. If I'm ever hungover it'll be my go to. Read more

I took my girlfriend there and she also amazed with the service and food. Ilove to have unlimited coffee there when i go and veg. Hash is amazing. If you are vegan there are plenty of options here. Gobuy grilled cheese where you will make it tummy full for sure. Pancakes are very much soft and we tried all of their flavours.Overall the staff is very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend place nearby. It closes at 3PM so good to go for brunch. Alsoone best thing to consider is, affordable. It?s not crazy expensive unlike other places. Go enjoy with your family.
