Level up brunch place from than the Sunset chains. S Like a pared down version of the popular Cora's chain. Food selection is... extensive enough for anyone to find something to enjoy. In my last review I stated that we would give it a second try and we did. So, here's an update to my last review specifically in... regards to the service. My husband and I visited recently and we ended up getting the same server as our first time. Theexperience was really good! The food was good and we quite enjoyed ourselves. Great atmosphere and experience! The space isnice bright and modern. I had the black and blue and my husband got the skillet. The potatoes were delicious, crispy on theoutside and fluffy on the inside. We both ordered over medium eggs, mine came out overdone and they remade my eggs which isgreat. The bacon was not overly impressive, tiny slim strips of bacon and it was super over cooked. The sausage was tasty andthe pancakes were delicious. The location is amazing, we live in the next town over and this is approximately a 17 min drivefor us! Read more
I found out & Simple below average at best. The service was good. The meal itself is a bit lack lustre. Breakfast is a simple... thing to make. My eggs were over cooked. The tops were runny but half way through they were far from over easy. The sausageswere very over cooked and dried out. Considering that breakfast sausage is difficult to overlook, they must have been waitingfor a considerable time. Oddly going with Rye break is a charge of 50 cents which small but pointless. The mark up is huge andnot necessary. I’m sure that a loaf of rye with at least 16 slices of usage bread is not $8.00 more in total than a loaf ofwhite bread with 16 slices. More like “let’s take the most popular choice and make it more money”. The added fruit is awaste. The pineapple slice was as hard as a rock. The strawberry was far from ripe and white coloured. The orange slice wasfine. The bacon was fine as was the potatoes. I’d rather have tomato slices than the potatoes however. For what you get fora simple breakfast it’s going to cost you $21.45 which includes a 15% tip. I ordered no beverage. They also use small eggs. I won’t be returning. Read more
Great place to have breakfast/brunch/lunch! Healthy and fresh quality food! And lots of gluten-free options! I had the Avocado... Lox toast (but without the toast… the yummy potatoes were enough). The portion was generous, the eggs cooked perfectly, theseasoning was just right, it was delicious ! Husband equally had exquisite eggs Benedict! Will have to come back for the(gluten-free) crêpes (French style thin pancake). And last but not least, excellent service! Read more
Nice clean stylish location with great food and service. Lovely location that feels kind of European. Lots of menu selection. ... The food everybody had was great. Olivia provided great friendly service! Prices are higher than Sunset Grill, but more likeCora's but a nicer atmosphere. We'll be back! Read more
I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Pur &Simple. In this visit I had the Avocado Bacon, poached eggs were done perfectly... and the avocado was super fresh. On a previous visit I had the Gourmet, and I have to say is the perfect option when you likesalty and sweet in your breakfast, the best of two worlds! The staff is really friendly and courteous. Best breakfast ever, and best service. We had to wait, however, the greeters were so kind when they let us know that we had to... wait longer, unlike the greeter at the Heartland branch in Mississauga, who had to tell us in a cold way that we have to waitfor 2 hours in a weird tone while the branch is half full only! The manager of this branch is so kind and customer serviceoriented. So at our server Nadia was so so so great too! Love this place! Read more
My wife and I visited this establishment for breakfast today. This was our first time at Pur and Simple, and boy it did not... disappoint. My wife had the Angus Benedict with spicy hollandaise sauce and I Ray's extravaganza. The flavours from both disheswas unreal. To of the best breakfast dishes we have ever tasted. Definitely will be visiting this restaurant again. Thanks toour to waitress who was outstanding. Top notch service! Read more
