Ordered the family (2 person) meal - full chicken with two sides (got the potatoes and veggies) $34 after tax Can't think of a... time I've ever had bad Portuguese chicken - this time is no exception. This place is my new go to for Portuguese food. The quality of the food is amazing and authentic tasting as the prices are... extremely reasonable. The owner was super friendly and was even able to accommodate a vegetarian meal even though it wasn't amenu item. Really disappointed. I like to support local biz, and gave this place a try. Chicken was totally dry and seemed like it was... cooked hours, if not days, prior - and was completely smothered in what tasted exactly like Frank's hot sauce - which I neverlike anyway - nothing Portuguese about the food, in my opinion. Stopped in for the first time with my husband . We got the feijoada:) it was a 10/10. And trust me , we both have moms that make... awesome feijoada(traditional Portuguese bean stew) it had so much flavour and just tasted great????can?t wait to taste their codfish?? Read more

There definitely was good and bad to this Portuguese restaurant! Staff/owner very friendly no complaints about service ! Food... was just not great. In my opinion did not taste authentic. Franks smothered on the chicken and the rice and potatoes lackedflavour. I ended up making my own sauce to add to the dinner. I am a true lover of Portuguese cuisine so this spot was on mylist to try. Not worth the drive. Although that being said ! The custard tarts they sell 10/10 super good. I wouldn't order or recommend this place. Firstly, frozen veggies. Why? The veggies are watery, soggy, and... flavorless. Secondly, the round potato's are okay but they've been just boiled, no roasting. Really disappointed. If you wantsauce, they'll pour Frank's hot sauce. Don't even get me started on the rice, bland and flavorless, just cooked in tomatosauce. Omg, and then the hot sauce. I know it's Frank's, yuck. They couldn't even make a secret sauce. I'll be driving all theway to Mississauga to go to my favorite authentic Portuguese restaurant and not whatever this place is. If I could give zerostars I would. Read more

I was recommended this place by a family member (who knows I love Portuguese food). Just going to say it, I love this place and... is now one of my favourite Portuguese chicken places in Oakville / Halton. I ordered a 1/2 chicken meal with the rice andpotatoes and was impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. The meat was cooked perfectly (not dry) and I reallyenjoyed their hot sauce which had a nice kick to it. Defiantly will be coming back and I strongly recommend you try them out! Read more

Amazing, authentic fresh food at low and affordable prices! Great portions and very friendly staff as well. I love this place... and I go all the time to pick up food. The seafood dishes can vary day to day. I love how I can customize the sides to myliking. The spicy chicken is delicious and I love the mixed veggies as a side! Read more
