I like a good bagel as much as the next person. Some do it great some do it ok. Was really excited about OKO bagels and their... selection and option. Layout, decor, selection and options are all good. Opted for the smoked salmon with onion bagel andcilantro and chilli spread. For the price I paid, the flavour or the size or the amount of filling was not ok. $15 for a bagelsandwich is very steep. They have lots to choose from and options but wouldn?t be a repeat for me. But I do urge people tovisit, try and experience. Read more
Checked out OKO bagels last week and it was pretty good. We got 2 smoked salmon bagel, one on a rosemary sea salt and the other... on a whole wheat everything bagel. We also got a Montreal smoked meat on an onion bagel. Overall it was fresh and tasted yummy.The smoked salmon was my personal fav and a go to for me! Read more
We're so glad to have discovered a spot for Montreal-style bagels close to home! The Oakville location is well-maintained and... takes COVID precautions seriously - something we truly appreciate. At their recommendation, we ordered the classic smoked salmonon a rosemary and sea salt bagel, and the caprese on an Everything bagel. We were pleasantly surprised by the crispy exteriorand chewy interior of the bagel! The fillings paired well and we can see why there's always a long line-up...by early afternoonmost of the bagels are already sold out! We also loved that they carry home-made cream cheese in a variety of differentflavours...we'll definitely be back to try some of them! Read more
It was my first time trying Montreal-style bagels where the texture is more dense and chewy with a crispy exterior! They have... lots of different bagels to choose from, along with a variety of cream cheese flavours. The sweet and savoury combo of the fig &goat cheese was so yummy, and i liked how there was arugula in there for some freshness. My mom got the caprese which hadmozzarella + turkey + tomato + basil! These bagels were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Thereare so many flavours to choose from Coconut, Cinnamon sugar, Whole wheat everything, Poppyseed, Chocolate chips, Blueberry,Rosemary and salt and many more . The blueberry is one of my favourite! You can customize any of these bagels with theirselection of flavoured cream cheese or with any of their sandwiches fillings. Three sandwiches I got are: TROUT- Smoked trout,honey mustard, arugula, black pepper. Was my favourite one! I love everything with honey mustard and it complimented the troutwell, the onion bagel I chose was also very flavourful! BEEF-Smoked Meat, Onion and Oro sauce. I chose Everything bagel. Ireally like smoked meat and everything bagel makes everything better! CAPRESE-Mozzarella, Turkey, Basil, Olive oil, sea saltand pepper, I had this on poppyseed. There's various locations in the GTA which makes it more accessible to everyone. Different options to choose from for bagels -... from rosemary sea salt to onion and so much more. Visited a little closer to closing time so there wasn't much left. Store is alittle small but has covid protocols in place. I love that they have a mini market and you can find other products, other thanjust bagel there. You can also get discounts on day-old bagels. If you prefer prepackaged fresh bagels, you can also purchasethat. I liked the salmon bagel. I also tried the trout. Read more
First time coming to OKO Bagels. The place was clean and staff was friendly. Loved the selection of bagels just by the... appearance. Gourmet bagels in my opinion. They also have a wide variety of cream cheeses and specialty bagel sandwiches. Itried their everything Bagel with the Canadian maple cream cheese and a cappuccino. Consistency of the bagel is great and notheavy at all. Based on bagels I've had in the past, it seemed like this company uses good ingredients to make their bagels. Enjoyed the bagel and will definitely be returning to try other selections. Read more
