I've always passed this place in Oakville downtown, but never tried it out until tonight, and only after my friend recommended... it. Sushi was super fresh, service was amazing and the decor was very nice. Great atmosphere to be in, but most importantly the food... was terrific. All the items on the menu looks great but we ordered the love boat for 2 and one app. Price was reasonable and theportion was perfect. Would definitely come again! Read more

Great vegetarian/vegan sushi! This location is great when they have the patio set up, great atmosphere. Everything came out... pretty quickly, and is reasonably priced. $6-8 for most 8 piece trays. My fiancée and I have gone here several times. Read more

My friend and I got the two person love boat for lunch. Most of the sushi and sashimi was good but the tuna was completely... inedible. It made my friend gag so I only took a small bite. It tasted like blood (metallic) and was super fishy. I haven'tseen other reviews mentioning this so it might just have been an off day for the tuna but it definitely made the rest of thefood less enjoyable. Just be careful when ordering tuna. Kibo offers quick service and sushi downtown Oakville. The restaurant inside is fairly narrow and long with limited decor or... vibe. Outside dining on the patio curb-side In the summer is preferred. The sushi fish was fresh. The roll combinations wereinteresting and the menu is loaded with options. I really enjoyed the tuna and avocado tartare. The spicy chicken karage was atad heavy on the batter but the portion is very generous! The rolls were tasty but not very tight or finely rolled - from aaesthetic perspective they were loose. Great experience! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We sat on the patio with our dog and 2 toddlers - the staff... provided us with booster seats, little cutlery/dish sets for the kids, and a water dish for the dog. The food was delicious andreasonably priced for the quality. We loved eating here and will definitely be back. Read more

Ordered an assortment of 5pc rolls for takeout and they were all quite tasty! We ate by the lake since the restaurant is so... close to Lakeshore and the weather was gorgeous. My favorite were the aburi (torched) options. I will probably order a platterfor better value next time. Read more
