We went about 7pm and had a wonderful dinner with wonderful service. They were alert to our needs and took dishes as finished.... We had the full meat Fajitas and I had the Cuban Chicken with rice, beans, and plantains. The fajitas is enough for two people.We took it home and enjoyed it again. Fantastic food at very affordable prices. My tummy was full for less than $10. 3 delicious Tacos. Probably the best tacos I've... had... Ever! I decided to try Mexican style rather than American style and wow. What an incredible mouth watering experience. The staff were excellent and explained the difference very helpful and friendly. Fantastic dinner at Quates Mexican Restaurant to kick off the weekend ! The Manager, Pablo, gave us the best sellers and it was... tough to decide as their prices are low. The chips and two types of salsa were a wonderful start. I ordered the steak fajitabowl and it was delicious. The steak portion was generous and the flavors were fabulous. My friend had the Taco Supreme and sheloved it. It was enough for two people so I ate her other half! Plenty of cheese, ground been, guacamole and refried beans. Wesat outside as the temperature was cool, but they had plenty of indoor seating with very cool art work. Highly recommend ! Read more

Beyond the glitz of the beachside and downtown restaurants you will find the gritty hoods with some authentic Mexican food. ... Quates does that well. I loved eating the chips and the salsa it all went down perhaps too easy. The tacos were loaded withmeat and were substantial. Add great servers and this is a good place to be for cheap Mexican. Um hello, where have you been all my life? Lol jk the food here is amazing it's a great place to bring friends and have a good... time.
