I haven't had some good authentic Haitian food in forever and I'm so happy that I have found this place. I ordered the stew... chicken, groit, and both rices and bean sauce all were delicious!!! Definitely am ordering again. Read more

The fried beef and legume were soooo good! The rice of course was cooked perfectly! The service was great as I was attended to... as soon as I walked through the door even though they were busy! Read more

I'm actually in love with this restaurant the foods from there are really tasty, but the only thing they need to improve is the... packaging cause no matter how careful I carried the bags my sauces are always spilled please come with something better to servethe sauce. Read more

Always delicious food with generous portions. I ordered legume, and it came with rice, beans, and plantains. Most recently I... ordered take out from them after 7 pm, and the food was still fresh to the eye, to the smell, and to the taste. Food hit thespot! What surprises me is their intentional emphasis on great customer service. Once I entered this establishment withCaribbean cuisine, Jay greeted me warmly and made sure I was satisfied. He did admit that they had to switch the rice type.I’d expect that from a popular place with great food. If you’re hungry, go make your belly happy at this place! Their menuis in two languages. They have a spacious dine in area or you can order take out. Read more

For the most part I am pretty picky about Haitian Food... and just going out to eat at Haitian restaurants in general. My main... frustration is... either the food is good but the service is horrible, the service is great but the food is meh... or if theplace has ok service and decent food.. they never have most items on their menu available... With this in mind I've all butgiven up trying to find a place i love (after some of my favorite places closed) while also being confident that it is a place ican refer ppl to.... that is until today! The food at M&S is great! tastes just like the home cooking I got as a child. Thestaff is friendly and amazing. The have plenty of room to sit down to eat, as well as take out option. You can even find them onGRUBHUB. We got the griot, oxtail, chicken is sauce/stew chicken, Legume , and the griot. Everything tasted great! I loved thebean sauce provided for the rice... and the pikliz was on point! If you are ever in the East Oakland/ ft laud area I highlyrecommend as they know what they are doing. Read more

As you should already know, the customer service at a Haitian restaurant is not the best but the food is good. They are simply... just too busy taking phone orders. They didn’t have Tassot Turkey nor Goat so they serve beef which was ok. The food was good,I want lie but I’ve had better. The fried plantains were too crunchy so all they did was hurt my gums. I probably won’t comeback as there are better Haitian spots to try out. Bob chance! Read more

Was driving back to work from an appointment and decided on Haitian food. The service was quick but my griot was cold for a walk... in order. As soon as I sat in my car and took a bite, I was so disappointed. Asked for extra gravy since it was such a smallamount and the little container was half full. The girl said they don't give extra anymore. So now, i have cold griot and dryrice. Lol. I'll stick with J J or China Hut Haitian spot by my house ??????????? They were nice though. Read more
