Went with a couple of work colleagues yesterday. As it was still early, around 5pm, the outside tables on the street are a nice... touch. Food is better than your average pub food, as we tried a variety of tacos, burger, fries, Philly cheesesteak, etc. Portions are great for the money (post-pandemic standard!). We don't know the area well, but this street overall seemsreasonable, and this pub is a great stop for food and a beer. The attraction for us was actually to eat, then go to Bar Shiru ashort walk away. Read more
I really like this place. I wish I caught the name of the man working because he was so funny and nice. My mom asked and ordered... if they had steak fries (the wedge kind) and was surprised to be served the carne asada fries they had lol. That?s how wefigured out why our order was so expensive! Fun and beautiful place. Flew into Oakland pretty late and was craving food. The Hatch was very satisfying, had a chicken... sandwich and chili fries. The philly cheesesteak sandwich was delicious as well. Customer service was amazing Read more
