Visited first Starbucks in Oakland very big, clean, quiet for a while, internet was good. Service was alright!

While the people were nice and the coffee acceptable, my medium Italian Roast was so overfilled when I took the lid off to cool... it, hit coffee spilled all over my fingers. While not savagely burned, the rank amateurism involved by the black apron coughistaserving me only puts this location in the convenient caffeine category. That?s up there with 7-11. You really can?t go wrong with Starbucks. This location was no different. Workers were kind, friendly, and helpful. They also... had the largest selection of mugs and tumblers I have ever seen in one location. The variety was amazing. The store overall wasvery clean and location was easy to get to for an out of towner. My nitro cold brew was ready in under 2 minutes despite havinga decent amount of people in the store. Good experience. Friendly and upbeat team. Kudos to the baristas. They actually prepared the drink to my exact customized... preferences. Nice presentation. Will admit, the atmosphere was reminiscent to a club. I say this because the music wasblaring. Aside from that, glad I went. Ordered the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. The baristas seemed to be distracted, but they were polite. I ordered a grab and go item for take out. The bathroom was open for... customers. Yay! This is a uniquely designed Starbucks because this is the first Starbucks that I?ve ever seen that has plantsand more space for them. Read more
