This is a family owned business. The daughter, a high school freshman, makes baklava. The mom is the chef and her recipes are... from her mother. It is a personalized experience with very nice people. We were the last ones to leave and rather than tellingus to go, they said to take our time and lock up the restaurant when we want to go. Who does that? A kind family. Read more

Very friendly staff and vibe is very good but the portion was pretty small compared to other places or their pictures. I would... have given five stars if the portion was like the pictures they posted here. It was delicious nonetheless. Read more

Great food, friendly and helpful staff. We reserved through Google Maps which ended up working out and they were responsive. No... wait on a Saturday evening at 6:30PM. Would recommend the veggies (lentils were awesome) and the sambusas. Honey wine wasinteresting. Sweet with a very distinct herbal taste to it. Read more

I enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the outdoor seating area. Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. My friend... and I shared the Abby's veggie combo (vegan). My friend also had the Shrimp Tibsy, which he liked. They take reservations onlinethrough Yelp. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Read more

Good vegetarian options. I tried the abbeys vegetarian combo and baklava. The combo had 4 of the standard items one would get in... a veggie Ethiopian combo (2 red and one yellow lentil, side made of cabbage carrot potato), some salad and also a dish made ofokra which I really liked. The red lentils were really good. I also liked the baklava. The injera itself was a little sourerthan what I would ideally like but overall great food. Read more

Delicious Eritrean food! Definitely the kind of place to order 3-4 dishes with a group of friends and try a bit of... everything! All of their main dishes were delicious but make sure to get the Sambosas while you're there! Overall price issolid, food is delicious and the owner is wonderful so come support a local business!
