It?s authentic. A large group of Thai folks have a huge party while I am dining. If they like it, I am sure that?s pretty... authentic. The portion size is very large. The curry tends to be very creamy with a heavy portion of coconut milk. The mangoduck is very crispy. I like the presentation of the dish. I am typically not a Yelp reviewer, but feel the need to sing the praises for Pla Daek Thai Esan. Been twice with my husband... and consistently very pleased with everything we have ordered! I have eaten Thai all over the Bay Area for years and regardthis as a particularly excellent find. Quick, polite & responsive service, nice menu range and exceptionally fresh andflavorful, well-balanced dishes. Portions are generous, and priced accordingly. Omg literally one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to! The staff is so nice and although it does take a little... longer, it is so worth the wait. They accidentally messed up our order and we didn't bother to say anything but they came andgave us free fried rice!! And let me tell you, that was the best fried rice ever!!
