Great pizza and wings! I like the Hot Sausage Party with light jalapenos - they go crazy with those jalapenos if you get it... regular. Pro tip: order the wings plain with both sauces on the side so they don't get soggy. Go in instead of delivery for thebest experience, but of course I do both. Read more

I just bought Philo Burger and was very disappointed. I selected "medium rare" and I got "Well Done" instead. It was extremely... salty and the bun wasn't toasted it tasted cold and doughy. I've ordered the pizzas in the past and loved them. They have agreat beer selection. But this bad review is for that horrible burger. Their chef needs to know the difference between cookingtemps for a burger. That thing was like a piece of salty leather. Read more

Went for brunch and got the Breakfast in Tuscany brunch pizza and Cinnamon Swirl Challah French Toast. Really enjoyed the pizza... which had braised kale, mozzarella, Calabrian chilis, and baked egg. We added the mushroom medley which added some nice umami toit. The French Toast wasn't too good. The challah seemed too dense to absorb any of the egg mixture so it was only a coating. Ireally like when the bread absorbs it and you get a moist custardy interior which didn't happen here. Also the thin egg coatingmeant when it was cooked, the challah was barely above room temperature. Service was friendly. Nice selection of beers and hardkombucha on draft. Probably a 3.5 star day, but rounding down for the French Toast Fail. Read more
Be aware that they're only accepting orders made ONLINE at the moment! Be sure to order online prior to coming in to pickup.... That said, we ordered a Miss Piggy and a Garlic Garden, and OVERWHELMINGLY preferred Miss Piggy for flavor. The pizzas were bothhot and mouthwateringly fragrant, ready in 15-20min after we placed our order around 2:15pm. Quality of the food was great!Highly recommend for fresh, delicious eating. RE: owner's response- unfortunately, it looks like the arugula was missed in ourorder! That definitely would have helped with the flavor; hope to try it some other visit. Thanks for the response! Some of the best pizza in Oakland with a hefty menu of local beers and ciders. You can make your own pizza, but the specials are... hard to beat. Don't sleep on their wings, either. Location isn't the easiest to get to but well worth it! Read more
