Wow! I can?t believe that this place has been 2blocks away and Saturday was my first time dining here. I had a mommy daughter... breakfast date with my toddler. When we first got there it was no wait and the cashier was so nice, I didn?t get his name buthis customer service was AMAZING. We ordered the French toast and I had the egg sandwich with a side of tator tots and freshsqueezed OJ. OMG it was tasty and the garlic aioli on the sandwich was FIRE! We spent about $40.00. I was surprised since mydaughter is only 3 but it was ok we enjoyed the gem in our backyard. What I also loved was there an area for kids to play so aswe waited she enjoyed all the toys. Such a wonderful place! The service is efficient. Great place for Vegans with limited selection. The place itself is inviting... with a cool Oakland vibe. The Vegan Breakfast Burrito was one of the best I've had around. Clean tasting without all the goopand messiness of most I've had. The green machine smoothie add strawberries was delicious. The breve latte was one of the bestin the areas if not best. The Buddha Bowl is packed with fresh and Tasty. What a special gem of a place. Huge Meh! We were disappointed by an establishment near by and wanted to take shelter at a place that had vegan options. The... menu was confusing because there would be a vegan/veg symbol but had meat on it? Like what? The ban mi had the wrong type ofbread. Avocado toast, more like avocado basic bread. The breakfast burrito average. The tot dish, greasy and mediocre. Ourcoffee drinks were meh. Staff was friendly. They only had one bathroom for customers and someone was taking a long poo. Great spot! Right around the corner from our Airbnb. Good food, the herb scramble with Lox was very well done. Eggs were nice,... moist and tender, the tots were great, crispy and a little salty. My 3 year old loved the French toast, nicely done! They have asmall play area with toys for small kids, awesome! Great cappuccino! Read more
