Friendly staff and there?s a semi private room available for larger groups. The room can easily accommodate 30 people, maybe... more but they also use it for storage so if you?re wanting to use the whole room you should let them know ahead of time. In my opinion, this is the best pizza in a one to two block radius. There is much better pizza in Oakland, but, in that range... this is the best. There is at least four pizza places, two small businesses and two corporations, in my area. Mountain Mike's isthe only one I will eat. Owners and operators are great. Never had a bad experience. I went there to pick my uber order but lady working behind the counter fully ignored me. She didn?t pay attention at all. She... was just priorities phone calls and she was fully ignoring uber pick ups, even after I tried to show her uber pick up on thephone but she was so unattractive. She looked that i am showing her order but she she was like what i am doing there. Read more
About a year ago we were treated poorly by the manager / employees on site when their own credit card machines were down. Just... posting so management realizes the impact of poor service... Since that day we have avoided mountain mike's at all costs eventhough it is clearly the most convenient option for us. We have since hosted 20+ events in the past year at Berkeley where $5k+went to a different pizza restaurant. Hope this chain learns to treat their customers better going forward. Read more
I?ve come to this location several times and on each occasion I have received speedy service. While all of my orders have been... takeout, this would be a great place to eat in as it has always been very clean and thanks to the many windows the dining areais bathed in natural light. At least one of the large TVs is on broadcasting a sports event. And yes, in addition to the speedand accuracy of my orders, my meals have been delicious. Read more
Pizza has certainly become expensive. $32 plus for 2 small pizzas is not great value. Pizzas tasted fine, asked for mushrooms to... be left off but they were not. Read more
