I ordered their veggie sandwich and also a steak sandwich. Both of them are really really good. I think the best part is the... service. Although I only get a to-go order, the owner and the staff were extremely friendly and nice. This place is a gem!Highly recommended. Parking is street parking. My Fiancé and I went to try this little gem at lunch. These Panini are from@Modigliani Cafe in Adam's Point Lake Merrit. Pictured above from First I had a bite of all and they were wonderful. They allhad a golden buttery crunch to the bread itself. The veggie panini having a nice add on with the pesto. There was an explosionof juices out of the Cuban sandwich on every bite. The meat could have had a tad more salt. But definitely a hefty serving sizeof pork. Makes me wonder what their BBQ is like. Probably other worldly. Saw this on a list of top places to go in the Bay area and it did not disappoint. I've had 3 sandwiches already; tuna melt,... meatball, and pulled pork panini. All of them straight ????. This place is old school - cash only! Best deal you can get though.Oh... And I had a milkshake; strawberry ice cream with peanut butter cups added. I savored every sip. I was walking down the street semi hungry and walked past this place I had to backtrack the smell coming from the cafe was just... sooooo good!!! I?m not a big sandwich eater and am very picky but this was the greatest sandwich I ever had!!!! The service wasawesome! The man was so kind and let us try the meatballs and pesto before closing up. This place is truly one-of-a-kind. It's a tight menu, but behind every sandwich is alabor of love that goes into every kind of meat they make, every sauce they brew, and every pepper they pickle. But don't takemy word for it, go there and have the owner serenade you with free samples and spiels about how much they make themselves. Great sandwiches and great customer service. The staff was very friendly. I wanted to order the cucumber salad but the dressing... wasn't ready. You can tell the owner is passionate about his food and it shows in the quality and taste of the food. I willdefinitely come back for that cucumber salad and to try out the rest of the menu. Read more
