This place is so good. I?ve been searching for seafood dishes and found fish and shrimp. The mushroom kitfo was also to die for.... I wish this place was closer to me, I?d be here all the time. Visiting Oakland from Atlanta so decided to try Mela Bistro with a group of friends for Brunch and we were extremely... impressed! Simply blown away with the amount of breakfast options listed, never been to restaurant that served Genfu/Ge?at!That is as traditional as it gets and it was delicious. The pancakes (add fruit!), Mimosa (Ethiopian style yummy), Latte & Fulwere excellent options as well - my mouth is watering as I type! Service was amazing. I loved the vibes inside. I got the lamb dish, and it was phenomenal 10/10. The meat was perfectly cooked,... and the spices were all mixed perfectly. I?m not a salad person, but this salad was so yum LOL. We also got the veggie platter,and it was good but not to my taste. Most of the curries were served cold.
