Some of the best pizza you can get in Oakland, if not the whole Bay Area! I?m from the Midwest and finding a good pizza place... has been a struggle for the last 7 years. This place does not disappoint. A common problem from other pizza places in the bay isthat they are overly greasy or too cheesy or skimp out on toppings and just have bad crust. Leaning Tower gets high a grade onall these points. Highly recommend. Read more
Hands down the best pizza in the Bay! They have a ton of variety: classics like pepperoni, margarita, Hawaiian etc. but... personally I go for the specialties: pear and Gorgonzola, roasted pepper and sausage (which is spicy and sweet), and my all-timefavorite: burrata, pistachio, fig, and arugula. They also have "Detroit style pizza" which I had never had before but it'salmost like a deep dish except more sophisticated and more cheese! Great pizza (we tried the pepperoni, margarita and the veggie one) and beer during happy hour. Sausage roasted pepper pizza... rocks as well!!! Tad expensive though :(. This place is literally 1 min from our house but it's a little expensive for ourbudget, but happy hour deal is not bad! The pizza by the slice I've gotten here has consistently been burned on the bottom and / or so tough and chewy that half way... through a slice my jaw actually hurts too bad to finish the rest. Really disappointing since I live nearby and have never hadissues like this with any other pizza. Read more
