What a gem! A true find! A local eatery in East Oakland right on the corner of 99th and Macarthur. Family run serving Mexican... food. The hand made tortillas make it worth the trip. The food was good. Had a homemade feel to it. The atmosphere made it feellike you stepped into an eatery in Mexico. Rustic and colorful. The place closes at 6:00 pm but may stay open longer once thereare more people in the area. The signboard is misleading. The name says Taqueria de Maria. I believe it belonged to theprevious owners. Excellent food , you have the option of regular or hand made tortillas. The tacos were delicious, definitely would come back.
Restaurant is great, but the website is a scam site and not affiliated with the restaurant. Google refuses to take it down... despite the restaurant’s requests! What the heck GOOGLE?! Why are you ok with promoting thieves?!!! Read more
