I work in downtown Oakland about once a month and usually have to grab something quick. I recently discovered Delegates and I... will be back. I ordered the avocado toast with over easy eggs to go and they were FAST. I got there a few minutes before 12 andbetween placing my order and getting my order, it probably took five minutes. I must?ve beaten the lunch rush but still, that issome speedy service. When I brought it back to the office, the eggs were still heated but perfectly runny the moment I atethem. Not bad at all. Had two breakfasts here and the order is prepared quickly. Staff is friendly and is described. Located well and... has upstairs siting area. The menu is quite extensive and has major american dishes. Not crowded and portions are very generous.Recommend this place. Read more
Unexpected find! Delicious huge sandwich! The bread is grilled to crispy perfection and French fries were fresh an hot. Yummy!
Fairly simple menu of solid, well-crafted food. Burgers, salads, and breakfast staples. You won't find any microwaved or boxed... eggs here! Everything is made to order on a griddle with super fresh ingredients. I ate the breakfast wrap, which is loadedwith hash browns, avocado, eggs, and chopped ham (you can opt for veggies instead of meat). It came with a delicious and mildlyspicy salsa on the side. Delegates makes really good food for cheap prices. You can't get an $8 burger outside of fast food these days in the bay. Plus... the bacon jam is just ridiculously good. I brought my computer and worked there in the morning. Really good breakfast (thehashbrowns slap) plus relaxing vibes and a solid playlist. Definitely coming back. Read more
The fruit is ALWAYS fresh! I love that the eggs for my morning breakfast wraps are always cooked when I order, and not... pre-cooked like other places I used to go to.
