Delicious takeout food. Got the Kebat bowl with side of tea leaf salad and mango lassi. Flavorful blend of spices in the Kebat... bowl. Mild spice level is very mild (good for my weak taste buds). The mango lassi was also delicious, though perhaps a littlesmall Read more

Came in hearing that Burma Superstar was super popular in the area so wanted to try it myself. I got the Superstar fries because... it was the cheapest thing on the menu and the description sounded pretty delicious, describing it as a spicy, savoury, umamibomb with a condiment called balachaung. Once I started eating though, it tasted horrendous. I tossed most of it. I laterlearned after looking online that balachaung is made with shrimp, and I do not eat seafood. It would have been greatly helpfulif the description explained what balachaung was, especially for people with allergies. Read more

Thank you for filling portions and great gluten free fried chicken. Burma bites has become one of my favorite take out places... during this pandemic. As a busy artist, I love being able to order and get my food so quickly. Everything I?ve had I reallylike. Yesterday I got mint chicken and it was really great but definitely didn?t taste like it had mint. I added my own freshmint from my garden and it was perfect. Good job Burma Bites. Thanks for being here Read more

I've been going to Burma since it was one place on Clement St in SF. I was so happy to find them in Oakland when I moved over 4... years ago but I have to say the quality has been in decline over the last couple years. It feels like they are more focused onproduction than quality. Burma Bites was just a step further in that direction... I was expecting single serve portions andpricing but what I got was tough $18 beef curry and a side of pricey coconut rice that was over portioned and not at allsatisfying. I also wanted the Tea Leaf salad but it was sold out and the alternative was like another $18 so I skipped it. Read more

This was a hype but also kinda a good bite. It has potential to be dope. Out of 5 this was a strong 3 I like how friendly the... staff is. I came in thinking I was going to get Indian food but it was more like a Asian/Indian fusion, the concept is reallydope but, the food was mid the Thai tea had too much dairy the fries were overpriced and not seasoned the portions were good..Parking is a bit tricky and its no where to dine in. We tried Burma Bites tonight for the first time and both loved our meals!! I had the Burma bowl with coconut rice and mango tofu... which was SO DELICIOUS, and my husband got basil chicken which he loved as well. And the steak fries!!! I have been eatingvegetarian and was also so happy to see the many tofu options on the menu. Looking forward to another burma bowl in my future! Read more
