The food was incredibly good. The sauce for every dish was perfect. The fried fish was crispy and delicious. The service was... great. They didn't take long to serve our food. The price? Excellent! Read more

When you see all this hype about the boil and the garlic udon noodles, you gotta wonder if they are legit 5-star good. And, well... spoiler by my rating guess, but yes, they are that damn good. We started with the perfectly crisp empanada and it was just theideal blend of flavors and textures, and complemented nicely by the spicy aioli. Next it was the sweet and savory wings that didliterally just fall of the bone. Then came the most deliciously garlic of noodles, whichl set off with some Sriracha. Last butnot least came our boil with shrimp and sausage, and if was the most heavenly medley.i could have drank that broth through astraw, so friggin' tasty. First time came here, it was teeming with people but it was for a private event, so gladl came backfor another shot, because redemption tasted delicious. Read more

I tried this place a few years ago and remembered it being reaaaaaally good. I read some reviews today before I ordered and was... surprised to see that some people think the food is "dry". I went ahead and ordered anyway and yup its still reeaaaaalllyyygood! I got the crab legs and two orders of mussels, one with steph curry sauce. It has a light curry flavor and it's sweet. Thegarlic butter sauce is great as well, it's better than a lot of places I've tried. The restaurant is in Oakland which is a plus!I'm so glad to have a proper restaurant that serves delicious seafood locally. I don't know what people are talking about "it'sdry"? I haven't tried anything else but the crab and mussels but I definitely will. Highly recommend this place the flavors areimmaculate! And the food came steaming hot! ?? Just wonderful, thank you to the chefs! You made a pregnant lady who can't eatjust anything very happy! Read more

My husband and I just ordered from here to be delivered, and this is the worst meal we've had! The garlic noodles were dry,... dry, dry and dry! The wings looked good, but once you bite into them, their dry and no seasoning. They were bland! Theportions were ridiculously small for the price. The only thing that had juice in it was the muscles. And even the musclesneeded seasoning. Overall, we will NEVER order from here anymore! Tasteless food, dry, small portions and over priced! My favorite eatery in Oakland that I’ve tried! We ordered potluck style and tried each other’s food. My devote was the... French toast and curry shrimp with plantains. Read more

This place is wonderful. I had the vegetarian stew and I've had it before. But they have a new recipe and it's seasoned so well,... it's pretty, lol, and it's a huge portion. I do wish that they had more vegetarian dishes, but they always have new things onthe menu when I come, which is a plus and I love that they do that. Nathaniel was my server tonight, very attentive &knowledgeable of the menu. He also suggested great drinks from the bar that I really enjoyed. He has great customer service andwent above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Great sense of humor as well. The bartender; Joshua makes agreat Margarita Colada. That sweet potato Cheesecake tasted so good I could have ordered a whole one lol. Outside dining includes heated lamps too.I highly recommend this place Read more

Wow, y’all, this place was awesome! Good vibes galore! The chef brings unique and fun flavor to classic seafood dishes. The... crab, in particular, came in an incredible savory garlic sauce-would recommend ordering the bread as a side to take fulladvantage. We had an awesome dinner here, complete with good vibes from the whole staff! Highly recommend for a casual but niceseafood dinner downtown Read more

Sunday brunch was tasty and different. The Chefs creative blend of American classics and his childhood NYC Dominican foods... brings a fresh twist his seafood creations. This restaurant has a mention in the Michelin food guide! I did not give it 5 starsonly because the menu online was different from what was available upon arrival. The menu changes more often than what I thoughtas he serves fresh local foods by the season. So the dish I was expecting was not available but I will call first to make surebefore driving an hour to get there. Read more
