My Grandfather, Aunt , Neice, and I went to Pop's this evening. I was very impressed with the service and food. The... atmosphere was relaxed and easy going. You can eat inside or outside in a patio setting. The food was very reasonably pricedand of great quality. We got the onion ring appetizer for $5. You could tell that they cut the onion there and made the batterthemselves. So many times I've ordered onion rings at other places and they are frozen from a bag with chewy hard cornmealbatter. Grandpa got the chili for $7 and was excellent. My niece got the kids burger and the meat is fresh and the Pattiesmade there. I got the chicken sandwich for $9 and the chicken was not processed. 100% chicken breast. The roll it was put onwas soft and you could eat the sandwich without making a mess. My Aunt got the Ruben sandwich for $9 and that was excellent. I have a feeling that they smoke the brisket themselves for their pastrami. The texture and seasoning you would never find atyour local grocery store. We waited no more than 15 minutes for our food. The staff were kind and very helpful. When itwas time to go home they asked if we wanted to go boxes. Then they took the food and boxed it for us. This place is a must. Great atmosphere, friendly service, great prices, and fast. We stopped here on out way out of Yosemite. Service was slow and food was okay. Portions were good, but we were expecting... better for a mom and pop place. After our good came the waiter that served us was great, but the waitress before him was notpleasant or friendly at all. Read more
