The menu has more selections of authentic Mexican and I... love that you can choose your sides with a variety of options (not just rice and refried beans). My favorite sides: * zucchiniand corn (calabacitas) * pickled jalepenos * Mexican street corn! My favorite entrees: * shrimp cocktail - loaded with pico degallo, avocado and cocktail sauce. It's yummy and pretty! * chicken mole` * burrito Zandunga with black beans as a side. Niceatmosphere, I find myself looking at the modern portraits. Wonderful authentic Mexican food and serves alcohol. Lots of menu choices. Got my food fast and was delicious ???? This place is a 4.5. Read my other reviews if you don't believe me. Carne Asada tacos and Molcajete. The portion to dollar... ratio is above average. The Molcajete can feed two people. The taste is superb and is af the Guadalajara tradition. The staffand service were great, and we will return to visit again. Read more
Very kind and courteous staff, without being over bearing. The owner is a delight to talk with, very knowledgeable and in-tune... with the tastes, looks and appeal of his restaurant. My Wife and I went here today, 02/13/2022, and upon entering, we wereimpressed. We were politely seated and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered. Less than a minute later we had our drinks. Aftera short while to decide our options, we ordered our dinner. Gini ordered the 2 combo plate; 1 Taco, 1 Enchilada, Mexican riceand beans. I ordered Pollo Con Arroz; chicken breast strips served over a bed of rice, green peppers and onions covered in amouth watering white cheese sauce. We were blown away by how great the meals were! The food is second to none around here andthe sautéed peppers and onions were so fresh, it tasted like they had been harvested expressly for our meals. We had a greatvisit to Zandunga Mexican Restaurant and we will definitely be going back. P.S., Gini ordered the chocolate flan and it was outof this world good!! Excellent food and excellent service with reasonable prices... Very upscale setting, clean with vibrant artwork and beautiful... plating. They also offer a variety of side dishes instead of only beans and rice. I wasn't sure what to expect when we walked into this restaurant. We wanted Mexican food and we were not close to our usual... favorite restaurant. And, I gotta say, I was really impressed. This place is seriously the best restaurant in oak ridge, the food, the margarita pitchers, and the art is amazing. Four people... for $75 with two margarita pitchers, four beers, and food for everyone is a insane deal. Alex was such a wonderful server, hemade my boyfriend’s birthday feel so special!
